🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem🇮🇱 (11/2/26)[Prayer]

Personalities
Psalm 71
1 In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame.
2 In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
turn your ear to me and save me.
3 Be my rock of refuge,
to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.
5 For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord,
my confidence since my youth.
6 From birth I have relied on you;
you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.
I will ever praise you.
7 I have become a sign to many;
you are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth is filled with your praise,
declaring your splendor all day long.
9 Do not cast me away when I am old;
do not forsake me when my strength is gone.
10 For my enemies speak against me;
those who wait to kill me conspire together.
11 They say, “God has forsaken him;
pursue him and seize him,
for no one will rescue him.”
12 Do not be far from me, my God;
come quickly, God, to help me.
13 May my accusers perish in shame;
may those who want to harm me
be covered with scorn and disgrace.
14 As for me, I will always have hope;
I will praise you more and more.
15 My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds,
of your saving acts all day long—
though I know not how to relate them all.
16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord;
I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me,
and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
18 Even when I am old and gray,
do not forsake me, my God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
your mighty acts to all who are to come.
19 Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens,
you who have done great things.
Who is like you, God?
20 Though you have made me see troubles,
many and bitter,
you will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth
you will again bring me up.
21 You will increase my honor
and comfort me once more.
22 I will praise you with the harp
for your faithfulness, my God;
I will sing praise to you with the lyre,
Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praise to you—
I whom you have delivered.
24 My tongue will tell of your righteous acts
all day long,
for those who wanted to harm me
have been put to shame and confusion.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD,
Our God,
How Excellent,
How Wonderful is Your Most Holy Name!
We Lift Up Your Name and Worship You,
For you Alone Are Worthy,
You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are The Most HIGH!
LORD of HOSTS,
Ancient of Days,
Lion of Judah,
Rock of Ages,
Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)
God Bless America.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
Hallelujah and Amen

Yesterday, I spent the whole day house-hunting with my Sister, her Son and Daughter-In-Law, and two Granddaughters who are ages 5 and 3. I am staying put, but my Sister wants to buy a house that will have an In-Law Apartment so she can live with her son's family. They have a generous budget, and in a more rural community (or a DIFFERENT State entirely), they could probably afford a whole compound, or a big mansion, but THIS IS MASSACHUSETTS we're talking about.
Even narrowed down to these particulars, we saw a tremendous variety of houses. Split-Levels, Raised Ranches, Victorians, and Colonials, up and down stairs (very steep in some of the older farmhouses), basements which could be quite nasty, and all the while trying to keep the little ones under control. Then, of course, there was the added factor of different tastes and visions for the future. The house could have been beautiful, but maybe it was on a busy street, or the schools weren't that good. Nevertheless, my Sister has hope that the perfect house will show up at the right price, and that God will work it all out for them.
The fact remains that, last night, both my sister and I were exhausted. neither of us are "Spring Chickens" after all, and "disappointment" is often even more exhausting than minding toddlers and climbing stairs.
That brings us to Today's Psalm, and the personality of David. After an incredible life and career as shepherd, warrior, fugitive, musician, and king, David is now feeling the effects of old age. He feels a sense of discouragement and abandonment and he begs God, Please don't cast me off because I am old".
Yet, even in this state, David praises God. His momentary despair is healed by the knowledge that God will never leave or forsake him.
Back in 1995, I wrote a song that started out like this:
"If we're not as close as we used to be,
WHO moved?
Was it YOU/ Or ME?"
David knew it wasn't God Who moved. God has always been there for David.
David knows this, and by the end of the Psalm, we know it too.

Amen, good word, we tend to wander off easily, reminding our selves to stay focused frequently. Hope you find a one floor house like we did, last second deal, such a wonderful house after looking at crappy houses for a month for the same price. Took 5 days to seal the deal and move in.

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
