Tucker Carlson seems to be among the “post-Christian right” as he has embraced Islam and advocates for it weekly.
If they have not yet, all the standards, and foundations become questioned.
The mores have been ques hitioned, and now attacked.
Fewer folks are still alive that heard the JFK challenge, i.e., “The question is not what the country can do for you, but what can you do for your country?”, and fewer who still care.
As to “A spiritually hungry”, though it is Christianity that fueled this nation’s grit to withstand WW2, since then, all these pocket wbars have had some searching elsewhere, since ‘Gawd did not start all these fires, just to test our mettle.”
Other folks who came here through proper channels, have brought “their spirituality” with them, whether that be another branch on the Tree of Christianity (Vietnamese Catholic), or another tree altogether .Yet they are Americans, and add that to the nation’s “Baskin Robbins vat”.
Then, of course, as with other nations with a predominant spiritual identity, we have tics and deniers. (IMHO, these are the poor in spirit, and need rescuing more than, hnnn lets say, a person who once was “a believer”, but now doesn’t care.)

What is it that makes it so that we cannot stop republicans from giving their own children to be indoctrinated in government schools? That really is where all of this begins.
That is where the religious children get secularized-by-design, become lovers of government, become BLM activists.
Government schools are the conservative-to-statist superhighway. Religious belief is the first thing the government schools eschew. And we’ve all known it for more than 50 years, this is not new information.
It just keeps happening.
Education is destiny.

I help my niece by paying for 3 days a week of good schooling for 3. She home schools the rest.
