🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem🇮🇱 (10/22/26)[Prayer]

Personalities
Psalm 60[a]
For the director of music. To the tune of “The Lily of the Covenant.” A miktam[b] of David. For teaching. When he fought Aram Naharaim[c] and Aram Zobah,[d] and when Joab returned and struck down twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
1 You have rejected us, God, and burst upon us;
you have been angry—now restore us!
2 You have shaken the land and torn it open;
mend its fractures, for it is quaking.
3 You have shown your people desperate times;
you have given us wine that makes us stagger.
4 But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner
to be unfurled against the bow.[e]
5 Save us and help us with your right hand,
that those you love may be delivered.
6 God has spoken from his sanctuary:
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah is my scepter.
8 Moab is my washbasin,
on Edom I toss my sandal;
over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
9 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us
and no longer go out with our armies?
11 Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.
12 With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father Who Art in Heaven,
Holy and Sanctified is Your Most Wonderful Name!
We Come into your Presence,
Overcome With Awe,
For You Alone Are Worthy of Praise and Worship.
You Alone Are the One True God.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
God Bless America.

Bob Dylan, in his early years, wrote a song called "With God On Our Side". It was during Dylan's "Protest Phase", so it was obviously aimed toward the "Military-Industrial Complex" that President Eisenhower had warned about. However, I submit that every Army of any country or persuasion has to believe that "god" (Whoever or whatever they perceive him to be) is on their side. Otherwise, how could they fight?
In his Second Inaugural Address, Abraham Lincoln made that point. In the American Civil War, BOTH sides were nominally Christian, and both prayed to the same God. Both believed that their Cause was Just, and that God was on their side. Lincoln's address showed a sophistication and insight that Dylan's earliest work lacked (he improved though, as soon as he realized he wouldn't become Pete Seeger's "boy") This is just my humble opinion, speaking as someone who has been listening for over 60 years.
Communists think that "god" is on their side, even though they profess atheism. Their "god" is Marx, or Lenin, or Mao, as attested to by the cult of personality, huge images, and even a tomb designed for worshiping a dead leader. Islamists think that their god is on their side, giving them license to do horrible, barbaric things to other people.
David knew when "God was on his side", and when He wasn't. His sensitivity to God's being on his side (or NOT!) is expressed in this Psalm.
Even though David is described in Scripture as being "A Man After God's Own Heart", he would not be allowed to get away with doing evil or stupid things. And, of course, being a king, David's actions profoundly affected the People of Israel.
Today' Psalm is a plea for restoration to a relationship, which will bring about a positive result for both David and his people.
God was always on David's "side". The question was "Was David on God's Side?"
That question is still relevant to this day.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)
God Bless America.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
Hallelujah and Amen

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
