Twenty-three bishops, including presiding Archbishop Eamon Martin of Armagh, attended the Irish Synod on Saturday. The majority favoured the ordination of women to the diaconate. The Synod didn't vote on using chocolate instead of hosts at the Novus Ordo.
More than 300 handpicked delegates gathered in Gormanston, County Meath, to vote on 35 proposals concerning the future of the Church in Ireland.
Regarding women's ministry, including "ordination" to the diaconate, 54% supported further exploration. A further 19% called for further consideration, while 27% were opposed.
Delegates also voted in favour of adopting "more respectful language" concerning practicing homosexuals. The proposal received 61% support, while 26% requested further discernment and 13% opposed it.
At the end of the assembly, Archbishop Martin recalled that it was the bishops who had initiated the synodal process in 2021. He announced that the Irish Bishops' Conference would consider the recommendations at its meeting the following week.

You probably already posted this good news, ebby. Your Pope is cancer free and doesn’t require further treatment!!!
“Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora report the following regarding the popeʼs postoperative recovery: Today, the final histological examinations and molecular biology tests on the tissue removed during the Holy Fatherʼs surgery were completed. The results confirmed that it was pulmonary adenocarcinoma and that the disease was localized. A subsequent oncological assessment confirmed that no further treatment is necessary,”

The Catholic Church simply is not a democratic organization. Women deacons is not able to be put up for a vote
It’s OK.
Don’t worry, be happy.
She doesn’t have the power to change Doctrine, so there’s no problem ... appointing her to a position of power doesn’t promote confusion or give scandal.
Or so I have been told.
