Ebb tide, the earth is not a goddess, but it is "sacred" because it was created by God (Psalm 24:1). Care for creation is rooted in Genesis 2:15 and traditional Christian stewardship.
have you read Genesis?
Desiring the unity of humanity under God is not "liberalism"—it is the explicit prayer of Jesus Christ: "That they may all be one" (John 17:21).
I fully expect another whatabouttery from you next,.... Conflating Christian stewardship and unity with paganism is a rhetorical trick, not Catholic doctrine.

Both Bergoglio and Leo's Vatican have referred to the earth as "Mother".
Take off you're rose-colored glasses, Cronos.
And please don't tell us about St. Francis of Assisi; that analogy doesn't excuse the pachamama idolatry practiced by the synodal popes.

(Bergoglio's synodal "church" is not the Catholic Church.)
