AMERICA Prayer Vigil (Sept. 8, 2026) *Prayer*

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

1 John 5:20
"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

2 Chronicles 7:14
"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble."

Holy Father God, we give thanks today for this opportunity to come to You in prayer, in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ--the Name above all Names! JESUS our King who sacrificed His life and shed His blood for our sins. You have the power to take everything that happens in our lives and use it for Your Honor and Glory.

Tonight we pray first, those who are waiting to repent from their sins and turn to Savior Jesus Christ--please do so right away. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, and today we are one day closer to returning to our True Home with Christ our King. No more hesitation! Time is running out in this end of the church age. Bring to us the people seeking You so we may assist them to ask Jesus for their confession and deliverance. Provide and show us every opportunity to tell everyone of the Good News.

Next, we pray the prayer with a request You will always honor. We pray that each of Your children grow in wisdom and knowledge of Your Word. We ask that Your Holy Spirit rules our hearts and minds in a manner that grows our walk with Christ. We ask that each of us mentor at least one person new to the Kingdom to help them with this growth. If possible, Father God, make way for Bible studies in each of our communities and help us teach all about Jesus.

Abba Father, give us hearts to love others, even our enemies, the way You do. Give us eyes of compassion so we can see people the way You do. Keep our tongues under the power of Your Holy Spirit so we may speak the way You would have us speak to whomever You desire. Bless our hands to do Your work in this dying world, and bless our feet to bring us to the places where You are needed. Show us the things that are truly important, and let all the vapid meaningless things of the world fall away from our lives so we can focus our energies more on You and Your plans.

Prepare us for the coming world crisis, Father God, which will impact the United States as well. Only those who trust in You and follow the plan You have for each of us will make it through the storms. Help keep us focused on our Savior as the waves crash all around us.

In closing tonight, Holy Father, we pray for our leaders, especially those who need to know You before they leave this world. We pray that our Brothers and Sisters in Christ will be diligent in their civic duty to vote for godly candidates, and that those who love You are elected. We thank You for the exposure of corruption in our governments and institutions and pray that it continues to be uncovered. Shine the Light of Your Truth into the darkness of this dying world. In the Name of our Savior and King Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
