Ruth and Boaz are married and have children. One of them, her firstborn will become the grandfather of King David, and is mentioned in the Genealogy of Jesus. Ruth is also mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew, as one of very few Women who appear in Hebrew Genealogies. That Moabite refugee certainly came up in the world! God is full of surprises. (for us, that is. God is never "surprised" at anything!)
