They have no knowledge whatsoever—only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him.

This is KEY for any Christian talking to a Mohammedan - especially when they say 1. "we respect Jesus more than Christians" 2. "we have Jesus as a prophet"

in short -- their "Jesus" is Isa and has little to nothing in common with the Jesus of the Bible

Knowing the house was surrounded, Isa asked, "Who among you will have my likeness cast upon him, be killed in my place, and be my companion in paradise?" The youngest volunteering man accepted the task, his appearance was changed to look exactly like Isa, and he was arrested and crucified. Meanwhile, Jesus ascended to heaven through an opening in the roof

note that the Q always calls mary as Maryam, "Mother of Jesus" and refuses to call her mother of God
