It's a powerful claim found in Scripture: “God shows no favoritism.” ...This phrase appears throughout the Bible, but one of the clearest moments is in Acts 10, when Peter says,
“I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right” (Acts 10:34-35).
This is a turning point—not just for Peter, but for the early Church. A Jewish man raised within strict boundaries of culture and religion suddenly recognizes that the Gospel is for all people, not just some...
It’s important to understand that God’s impartiality doesn’t guarantee equal outcomes...
It doesn’t mean everyone gets the same answer, timeline, or miracle. What it means is that God doesn’t value one person over another.
His heart, His justice, His mercy, and His invitation are extended to all...

This was a revelation to Jews who thought everyone else was going to hell because they were inferior.
He literally has chosen children….
"For he will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for every one who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality." (Romans 2:6-11)
Peter's message in 1st Peter 2:9 was delivered to the Jewish and Gentile converts scattered throughout Asia Minor:
They were chosen to fulfill a mission, which corporately, Israel failed miserably significantly more then not.
This does not mean they are more favored then others. Israel had a job to do.
Everyone is saved the same one way, no one has it easier or harder.
“ This was a revelation to Jews who thought everyone else was going to hell because they were inferior”
That has never been a belief of Jews.
Jews, in fact, never thought non Jews had any reason to practice Judaism and had a place in the world to come, just like them.
It means God is on God’s side.

What does this mean, favoritism— no apokatastasis?
God has one standard.
The “chosen people” were chosen to bring the light to the world. Not that all were saved. You are confusing chosen and saved.
The were chosen because they ARE a stiff-necked people (scriptures say that). Perhaps that is why they didn’t change one jot or title in the scriptures.
Imagine had God chosen the average american. Scripture wouldn’t last 10 minutes.
