Father,
We thank You for Your awesomeness. Thank you that You are so great and magnanimous. Thank You for Your mercy and love that goes to such lengths to reach us and save us. Thank You that it is Your will that all come to repentance and You work so tirelessly to accomplish that. Thank You that we live in a country that is still free enough that Your word is readily available and accessible to people.
Please, bring this nation to a point of repentance. Remove the blindness from the hearts of those who don't yet know You that when they hear or read Your word, it bears fruit for repentance. The problems we have cannot be legislated away. Government intervention and force cannot make things right. Only changed hearts and lives can do that.
Continue to protect our political leaders and expose the evil among us, and not only that, but bring things to a place where something is actually DONE about it. Let justice prevail. Let honest elections be held once again.
Protect our military and first responders as they take such chances in serving us. Give our leaders, a special amount of wisdom in the decisions they are making and remove from office those who refuse to submit to You. What with the amount of election fraud we hear about, it seems unlikely that these people were actually elected. Please deliver us from that which we cannot control.
We look forward to the day when You return and make all things right once for all.
