SAMARITAN’S PURSE TRANSPORTED MORE THAN 51 TONS OF URGENTLY NEEDED RELIEF SUPPLIES TO BEIRUT THIS WEEK TO SERVE DISLODGED FAMILIES.
The Samaritan’s Purse 767 aircraft made its third trip to Lebanon in the last two weeks to deliver another 50-plus tons of relief supplies, including medical resources for hospitals and clinics. This most recent load also brought more solar lights, hygiene and kitchen supplies, tents, blankets, and jerry cans. In total, we’ve flown in over 150 tons of aid, which we are providing to church partners to distribute to some of the nearly 1 million people who have had to leave their homes due to conflict.
Now living with relatives or in schools or community centers, these hurting families are receiving desperately needed items, including diapers and cleaning supplies, which they no longer have money to buy since they had to leave their jobs behind to find safety. Some are also living in hotels or even on the streets.
One woman named Ruz described how she and her three boys had walked for over 10 hours to reach safety. When they arrived at a shelter in Beirut, the place seemed foreign, though still in her own country. They were especially grateful for the warm greeting from our church partners.
“As soon as we arrived, they gave us canned goods. They handed us a box with supplies, bringing us groceries and potatoes.”
Showing the Love of Jesus
Our church partners are seeing this as an opportunity to serve the people of their country, regardless of religious background.

Why are they providing aid and comfort to the enemy?
First paragraph, last sentence
Been asking the same thing for years.
Samaritan Purse is the only non profit that actually came through after I lost everything in the Almeda fire. I couldn’t meet them at the burn because I was stuck hours away. My granddaughter offered to meet them. She never notified me that they found jewelry etc. Lots of gold and silver. She said she got tired of it being in her way and threw it all out after sending me pictures and putting it all in the garbage
I thought my heart would break. My family has gone woke and insane.
yeah... “threw it all out”....
At the local pawn shop’s garbage bin?
They need to tell them about the saviour, Jesus. They can do that while handing out necessary items. The physical help offered is because of Christ. The recipients need to know that. What they do with the information is on them.
Christ. Truth. Compassion.
God bless them.
Oh no, those who made a false idol out of the nation state of israel will not like this, even if it helps Christians in Lebanon.
Jesus, however, would say: “Well done, good and faithful servant! “

Not One Phookin Penny.
Good riddance.
Aid and Comfort to the Enemy.
That’s been suggested. No, she’s a minimalist freak. When she was a kid, used to throw her I mom’s stuff out. I’d have come to get it if I knew she had the stuff. Except that I was living in my car.
30% of Lebanon is Christian, if any of you idolaters care.
