A paid representative for the designated terror organization and Islam-pushing Council on American-Islamic Relations has called for Texas, in its state education system, to teach that one-third of all slaves in America were Muslim, enslaved, and killed for their Muslim faith, erase the Mayflower Compact, eliminate Columbus Day, teach that the Alamo was influenced by Islam and honors Islamic architecture and more.
Not happening, at least according to two members of the state Board of Education who challenged the accuracy of the claims, openly opposed a "jihadist agenda being forced on our children," and were skeptical about the benefits of teaching children about Muhammad's decision to marry a six-year-old and consummate the marriage when the little girl was just nine.

She has posted online about how board member Brandon Hall, a "Christian pastor and a seventh-generation North Texan," torpedoed the Islamic agenda that has been repeated over and over to school officials across America.
Shaimaa Zayan, a paid employee of CAIR, was in attendance to push for her ideology to replace traditional lessons in Texas history classes.
She was faced with a "masterclass in raw, unapologetic resistance," the report said.
Hall opened with a challenge about having a leader of a group "Gov. Abbott designated … as a foreign terrorist organization" testifying to a state board.
Hall charged, "So, you're here being paid to testify on behalf of… you're a professional, and in your opinion, your group would purport itself to represent Muslims around the country and in Texas. Do you believe… we're looking at what to include in the TEAC's content. Should we teach that there have been 70,000 terrorist attacks worldwide motivated by religious beliefs, specifically those in the Quran?"
He continued, "And for example, in Surah 9:29 that says, 'Fight those who do not believe in Allah in the last day, nor comply with what Allah and his messenger had forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who are given the scripture, until they pay the [jizya] tax, willingly submit, fully humbled.' Should we teach students that important piece of history?"
He continued, "I think it's important that we teach students about a major world religion in the context. And I was also curious, do you think that would be important context, or just for students to know real history that the founder of Islam, Muhammad, married a six-year-old girl, and consummated that marriage at the age of nine? Her name was Aisha. Do you think that would also be an important piece of context for our students?"
Another board member, Julie Pickren, charged, "Howdy, Texas. So, today, we had the foreign terrorist organization testify before the Texas State Board of Education. Again, the Council on American Muslim Relations… which Governor Abbott has designated as a foreign terrorist organization. Which the FBI has said is the face of the Muslim Brotherhood, another terrorist organization."
Pickren cited a letter from Zayan in which she demanded the state:
- Teach that 1/3 of ALL slaves in America were Muslim, enslaved, and killed because of their Muslim faith. - Erase the Mayflower Compact. - Eliminate Christopher Columbus and Columbus Day. - Cease Thanksgiving – including President George Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation and prayer. - Teach that the Alamo was influenced by Islam and honors Islamic architecture. - Teach fictional "Muslim contributions" as part of America's and Texas's founding.
Pickren's conclusion: "We're going to teach Christopher Columbus. We're going to teach the 10 Commandments. We're going to teach Thanksgiving. We're going to teach George Washington's Thanksgiving prayer. And we are certainly NOT going to teach that the Alamo was designed and built to honor Islam!"

It must be banned from the United States.
No doubt some of the slaves were Muslim but I doubt it is anywhere close to one-third. Probably the vast majority were “pagans” (followers of traditional African religions). Some were Catholics (taken from the Angola region where there was a Catholic kingdom). I doubt any children of the captured African Muslims continued to practice the religion without the call to prayer, mosques to pray in, any exposure to the Koran, not knowing when Ramadan was, and not having access to the proper foods. If the only meat available was pork, they would have eaten it.
The Alamo was built as a Spanish Catholic mission. I would agree that its architecture was influenced by Moorish architecture. Given that they occupied the Iberian peninsula for more than 500 years, you’d expect something useful to come out of it.

It’s important to remember that the Spanish were fighting the muslims for more than a half century before they finally drove them out of Spain. And by coincidence (or the hand of God) they discovered the New World the very same year. With all that fighting experience, it is little wonder that they conquered a big part of the the Americas decades before the first English settlements.
Note half a century = 50 years. Try 500 years!
