God dwells within every human life and this idea can offer consolation and direction to homosexual Catholics, writes pro-homosexual Malta Archbishop Charles Scicluna on the pro-homosexual Outreach.faith (February 3)
His text employes psychological categories and rhetoric such as “feelings”, “wounds”, “weaknesses”, “fear”, “self-punishment”, “self-doubt”, “dependence”, “healing”, and so on.
As if there were no sin, Monsignor Scicluna claims that “our stories, relationships, questions and identities are never beyond God’s loving gaze”.
He believes that “our lived experiences—including our questions, wounds and hopes—are not obstacles to God, but places of encounter”.
“Many of us, including LGBTQ Catholics, experience fragmentation: a sense of being divided between faith and identity, church and self, hope and fear. God’s presence gently draws us towards integration and peace.”
The key phrase is: “We are called to become people who welcome, listen and accompany others with respect and tenderness irrespective of religious, cultural, racial or sexual differences. This is what God’s inclusive love is all about.”
Unlike Monsignor Scicluna, Jesus Christ calls sinners to repentance and to turn away from sin, repeatedly warning - roughly three dozen times - of judgment, Gehenna, and eternal fire.

That’s a big old crusty bag of heresy.
Speaking strictly Catholicism, since that’s what the article is from:
From the Catechism- “2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity.”
Just like anyone not married
“From The Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1994
Chastity and homosexuality
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an
exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great
variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. It psychological genesis remains
largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts
of grave depravity (Cf. Genesis 19:1-29; Romans 1:24-27; 1 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Timothy 1:10),
tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” (Congregation
for the Doctrine of the Faith, Persona humana, 8). They are contrary to the natural law. They
close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual
complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not
negligible. They do not choose their homosexual condition; for most of them it is a trial. They
must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination
in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and,
if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may
encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them
their inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and
sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
ONLY in your false Gospel mind...
The Homo’s are running the Catholic Church ......
All are called to chastity.
In marriage (one man-one woman), chastity means fidelity to one's spouse and maintaining openness to life, allowing sexual intimacy to be a proper expression of love.
Outside marriage , chastity means abstaining from all sexual acts, practicing self-control to avoid using others for pleasure.
From the Catechism- “2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity.”
I had a pastor (not Catholic) that would say this, same as single people should be. Almost positive that he was homosexual - and chaste. VERY conservative in his Biblical views. Very much for LGBTQ attending church (all are welcome). VERY much against unrepentant LGBTQ having any leadership roles in the church.
As if there were no sin, Monsignor Scicluna claims that “our stories, relationships, questions and identities are never beyond God’s loving gaze”. I don’t know about His ‘loving gaze’ Padre, when it comes to homosexuals, but I bet He knows.
Someone should ask this bishop what he says to a young boy who has been molested by a homosexual.
This creep should not be allowed near any children anywhere.
God loves adulterers, pedophiles, murderers and rapist too.
Right? Mr. Heretic Archbishop. /spit
The Church I attend (The Vertical Church in Yuma, Arizona) has its mission as bringing people far from God to become the hands and feet of Jesus. We welcome homosexuals as souls needing to accept Jesus in their lives.
We are all sinners. All need salvation.
Another loser trying to create God in his own image?
Wrong.
God HATES sin.
Period.
God loves homosexuals, so He wants them to repent!
He wants us all to repent of our sins, especially during the upcoming Lenten season!
How is it that so many so-called Christian leaders don’t know the Bible?
...but Never Latin Mass goers...
God loves the repentant pervert minus the perversion. But Latinass goers...ahw hell no.
What’s the point of even posting This as it’s not new to Anyone?
Seriously
WHY?
Do you know what a Catholic Caucus is?
Nobody does
