In Berlin, Protestants have “blessed” a polygamous gay union for the first time.
Pastor Lena Müller of the Evangelical Church in Berlin conducted a ceremony in which she blessed four gay men as “one family”, BILD reports.
Müller, who openly promotes a “queer-inclusive” and feminist approach, organized a “pop-up wedding festival” near St. Kreuz Church in Berlin this summer – an event where people could come without prior registration. Among those who attended were four men – two from Latvia, one from Thailand, and, reportedly, one from Spain – who asked her to perform a “wedding” ceremony for them.
According to the pastor, the event team quickly agreed: “We saw that there was a lot of love between them. What could God possibly have against there being four of them instead of two?”
Even so, Müller admitted that an official church record was not possible, as this requires a legally registered marriage, and polygamy is prohibited by German law. Nevertheless, she stated that she considers the ceremony a legitimate “union before God”.
Same-sex church weddings have been performed by evangelicals in Germany for many years. However, the blessing of a group of people as a “family” goes beyond even the innovations previously introduced by some Protestant communities.
In Germany, such actions raise not only religious but also legal questions. German law recognizes marriage only between two people, and polygamy is not only prohibited but also constitutes a criminal offense.

Attention seeking disorder. eHem.
This is probably the EKD, the German state church.
There are at least two or three “evangelical” lutheran denominations in Germany, but it is the larger corrupted EKD/state church that allows female pastors. As such, and because of other differences, the LCMS in the US is not in fellowship with them, but is in fellowship with a smaller specific church body SELK/Evangelical Free Church in Germany and ELFK.
They all have “evangelical” in their name but the large state church is Lutheran in name only, long ago merged by government in with nonlutheran reformed as I recall.
That forced merger back in the 1800s is what triggered future LCMS founders to leave Germany for the sake of freedom of religion.
Evangelical is a Lutheran term that in the US took on a new meaning than it originally had and gets misapplied all over, too, in the US.
Then the LCMS had the schism back in the 70s where the lefties left and formed the group that the press mistakenly refers to as “mainline.” They aren’t mainline, they are a broken branch like the German state church, just larger because they take the compromised feels-good milquetoast position on everything but leftism.
False teacher
yes, Kaiser Wilhelm force-merged the Lutheran and Calvinist churches in Prussia into one. i’ve never really looked into the details of what he did, just that it damaged both lutherans and Calvinists and made the new state church just another department of the prussian government, preparing the way for the Nutzi “positive Christianity” and for the disbelief after WW2
Evangelical is the basic term in German (and in Polish) for what in the USA is termed “mainline”
So proud they had to block out their faces?
Yes. She has confirmed her place in Hell.
The one on the left plays receiver.
Is this for real? A circle jerk of scat eaters?
It basically means "Protestant."
Regards,
And here I thought it took a minimum of 6-7 to form a “daisy chain”....
Germany already has a big constituency for that. Betcha it's larger than the homosexual population.
Of course they do what they want among themselves anyway, but legalization could pave the way for more welfare benefits.
