Beloved, Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Who is the TRUE source for ALL Heavenly blessings here on earth and in Heaven above (Eph. 1:3)!
As we celebrate this time of Thanksgiving we are very mindful of many things. We are thankful for our loved ones, a measure of health and a sound mind. We are thankful for the earthly blessings and liberties that we possess as Americans. We are thankful for those who have shed their blood on our nation's behalf which have preserved our freedoms and liberties. We are thankful for the vision and labor of our Founding Fathers which steadfast sought to provide its posterity with a nation and constitution that we may enjoy our unalienable rights as human beings. We are thankful to those who labor for the Lord on our behalf, who challenge us and encourage us in the ETERNAL truths and promises of Almighty God.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you! (1 Thess. 5:18).
But most of all we are thankful for Almighty God our Father for so loving us that He sent His only begotten Son on our behalf (John 3:16-17), that we may be redeemed, forgiven, received, adopted and made righteous in the Person and work of Jesus Christ (Rom. 10:4, 1 Cor. 1:30).
We are truly thankful that we are still able to worship Almighty God in spirit and truth here in America and that we still have a measure of time left to get out His saving message to a dying and condemned world. We rejoice that Christ is coming again very soon and that this fallen world is NOT our home. We have a glorious future forevermore with our Savior and Lord in perfect RIGHTEOUSNESS in Almighty God's ETERNAL day (1 Cor. 2:9, Rev. 22:5).
May this Thanksgiving be a great blessing to you all! We indeed have much to be thankful for (Phil. 4:4)!
Beloved, Maranatha! The Kingdom of Heaven is truly at hand!

Thank you IF and God bless you.
For the edification, exhortation, and comfort of all, this is today’s devotional from DESTINED TO REIGN DEVOTIONAL (PASTOR JOSEPH PRINCE)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Philippians 4:6
- NOVEMBER 27 -
THANK YOUR WAY TO PEACE
You would probably have read this verse before, but would you like to know how to apply it in your everyday life? Let me give you an illustration to help you.
Let’s say that you are one of those in your company eligible for a promotion and you will know tomorrow whether you get it. You want the promotion badly because it means more income for your family. So you lie in bed at night tossing and turning. You pray, “Father, please take away all my worries about this promotion. Give me faith.” One hour later, you are more anxious than ever. It seems like God is not answering your prayer!
How come? Because you are not doing it God’s way.
Pray like this instead: “Father, I cast all my worries about the promotion into Your loving hands because You care for me and love me.” The Bible tells us to cast all our cares upon the Lord for He cares for us (see 1 Peter 5:7). Then, say, “Father, I would like to have the promotion.” It is okay to ask Him for that. Now, here comes the most powerful part—thanksgiving. Finish off with thanksgiving. Thank God for His faithfulness.
Say something like, “Father, whether I get the promotion or not, I thank You that You will always provide for my family with more than enough. You who feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field will take care of us. So I am not going to worry about this promotion. You are the source of all my blessings” (see Matthew 6:30, Philippians 4:19).
When you pray like this, all of a sudden, you are no longer held hostage by the promotion. I call this the “thank You” therapy. The more you know God’s Word, the more you can thank Him. The more you thank Him, the more His peace reigns in your heart. And many a time, before you know it, it is morning! You don’t even remember falling asleep. The peace of God reigns like that.
My friend, whatever your concern is, bring it to your Father in prayer and thank your way to peace!
Happy Thanksgiving day and may God bless you.
And like any red-blooded American, he really knows how to carve up a turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Funny thing happened this morning, especially given the timing, and that this never happened previously.
I heard a quick tap-tap on the kitchen door.
It did not sound like the usual squirrel(s) scratching for a treat. It was more like a person knocking, as if with a knuckle, but that wasn’t quite it either. Sharper that that, more like a fingernail. Odd.
Figured I needed to investigate.
And then I saw him — one of the neighborhood big boy Toms standing at the.. kitchen door, waiting for me to open it.
On Thanksgiving. 😬 😃
(This was not a case of his pecking at his reflection, because the lower half of the door is door material, not glass.)
I tossed him a few peanuts.
Imagine if he’d knocked on the wrong door! 🍗
Thank You, and Amen.
Colossians 2:6-7 (ESV)
[6] Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
[7] rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Well said.
I have been encouraged to give thanks for the grace and blessings I have had, have and will have. Today, I am not only thanking God for His blessings in my life but I am also thanking Him for answering prayers yet unanswered. We call that hope.
Praying the Lord's peace, His Shalom, arrest your heart! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you and back at ya!
We are very thankful here today.
Shalom
Shalom!
Happy Thanksgiving to all Freepers from myself and Mr GG2. 🦃
This Is The Day the Lord
Has Created!
Let us Be Glad
And Rejoice In It !
Thank you Father for ALL of the blessings I enjoy only because of your grace! All immediate family is healthy and doing fine. Praise to you God for all that matters and for allowing me to be born in such a great country, America even with our current situation is the greatest country on earth. I pray that your hand is on all who honestly seek you .
Psalm 103:1-7 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.
.
Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you.
