🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(11/27/25)[Prayer]

The Scriptures in Handel’s “Messiah”
Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Holy Bible, The King James Version

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Dear Father in Heaven,
How Wonderful is Your Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise and Worship,
For You Alone Are The One True God.
Thank You For Making Bitter Waters Sweet.
Thank You For Giving Us Your Precious Holy Word,
So that We Can See You in Your Word, and be Healed,
Not only From Physical Problems,
But From the Bitterness of the Heart, that robs us of our health.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”
If you would like to be on or off the Daily Ping List, please let me know.

A Blessed Thanksgiving To You! Here is a little story about God's Provision that comes from Real Life:
Yard Sales?
LOL...who needs yard sales? In the last few years, here is what I found by the side of the road in my neighborhood:
1. A Glass Tiffany-Style Lampshade in the “Dragonfly Motif”...tiny crack in one of the panels, perfectly fits a floor lamp of mine.
2. A flawless Bombay Company Art-Neuveau Table Lamp
3. A Dreadnought-Style Acoustic Guitar that just needed a little love (which I happily provided)...new strings and bridge-pins, some nail polish of the right color for the nicks and chips in the finish...and VOILA...a really nice instrument!
4. A stepladder, which I sorely needed around the house
5. Two Ancient Greek Style Columns for the garden and an outdoor end table for the deck.
6. AND..the piece de resistance...a THRONE...seriously...upholstered medieval-style mahogany side chair, probably early 20th Century, with ornately carved back and armrests...TOTALLY COOL AND FUNKY (in a good way!)
This comes from living in an affluent community while being poor. The trash collection laws are so strict that people can't just put things in the trash, and it costs to bring them to the dump, and it's too much trouble to try to sell them (and they don't need the money anyway!) so they “curb” items they no longer want.
And then, I come along!
Ten years ago, I moved from Florida to Boston to take care of Mom. I gave away nearly everything I had accumulated in the sixteen years I had lived in Florida, including a complete 16 Track Digital Recording Studio that I had built myself. I arrived in Boston with My Car, my Harley, My Electric Guitar, My Bass, and my DAWG Lynn-dah.
Mom passed away six days later, and with the little bit of money I inherited, I bought a mobile home in Southeastern MA. Every stick of furniture, dish, curtain, and carpet has been given to me, left over from Mom, or found.
And now, I have too much "stuff" once again.
The Lord provides.
Now let's look at something else to be thankful for...God's Immeasurable Grace.
One of the most wonderful qualities of Handel's Messiah is how the Composer created Word Pictures with his Music. As if Isaiah 53 isn't "graphic" enough, listen to verses 4-5: Surely He Hath Borne Our Grief. Now, even if you don't read music, follow the notes as you listen. The instrumental into sounds just like you are climbing a hill with a heavy weight. Even the notes look like that. Then the vocals start. Look at the notes for "Surely". They come down like a whip. This happens again with the words "The Chastisement".
Instead of expressing Isaiah 53 in one song, Handel stretches it out, line by line, with separate solos and choruses for each painful verse. Was this just a response to the way Mr. Jennens presented the Scriptures? Or was it perhaps Handel's own way of depicting the many hours of the Passion, minute by agonizing minute?
One word, "Surely", takes a whole musical phrase to articulate, and then, it is sung AGAIN. Then the chorus intones:"He hath Boourrrnnn ourrrrr Grieeeeeef", and "caaarried our sorrows". And then they sing it again. One can almost feel the anguish in the singing.
Now listen to this: With His Stripes.
"Stripes" are the long, bloody wounds left by a whip as it streaks down upon the flesh, and there were a lot of them on Jesus. The Romans were not respectful of the Jewish Law that mandated that the lashes stop at 39.
What took two hours to portray in a movie is depicted in two short choruses of Handel's Messiah, not only in the music, but in the notation as well.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out)
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
