OK, I'll be Sirius. The word being translated here is ἀδόκιμος (adokimos), meaning to fail a test--in this case, the test of fitness for use in God's purposes. And in fact to probate a will is to test it in court to ensure it is fit to use as representing the deceased's wishes, so the joke isn't 100% a joke.
Fits Pelosi perfectly.
“... people who are classified as having a reprobate mind have some knowledge of God and perhaps know of His commandments. However, they live impure lives and have very little desire to please God. Those who have reprobate minds live corrupt and selfish lives. Sin is justified and acceptable to them. The reprobates are those whom God has rejected and has left to their own devices. ...”

“35 Jesus answered, “The light will be among you a little longer. Continue on your way while you have the light, so that the darkness will not come upon you; for the one who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 36 Believe in the light, then, while you have it, so that you will be the people of the light.” - John 12
The reprobate are those who had the light, did not believe in the Light while they had it, and now are abandoned to walk in darkness. God doesn’t promise to give light to everyone for as long as they live. He knows if someone has rejected the light and will never agree to change...

1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
The Greek for "castaway" is adokimos, otherwise translated
reprobate, 3: Rom. 1:28, 2Tim 3:8, Titus 1:16
reprobates, 3: 2Cor. 13:5-7 (3)
rejected, 1: Heb_6:8
Yes, abandoned. A very sobering condition to be taken very seriously.
“... As the wicked deserted God, God in turn deserted them, no longer giving them divine direction or restraint, but allowing them to corrupt themselves as they wished. Because they would not honor Him, He let them do what they pleased to dishonor themselves. Being given over or yielded up to one’s sinful desires is a judgment from God. ...”
