Yet The Heavenly Father told Moses to pen that EVE was the mother of the ‘living’ .... You’ll think you are more knowing than the Creator .... bunch of loons.

Count me guilty of going to Jesus first without going to Mary. I wonder what my punishment will be and upon what grounds.

First of all, the free consent that she gave on Annunciation day was necessary for the accomplishment of the mystery of the Incarnation, as if, says St. Thomas, God had waited for the consent of humanity through the voice of Mary.

How many sentences in the Bible indicate that Jesus wants us to contact his mother.

“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen” I say that prayer, don’t know if it helps me earn my salvation, but figure it can’t hurt.

Grace doesn't come through Mary at all. It comes through Jesus.

John 1:16-17 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 1:5-6 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

2 Timothy 1:8-9 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

It might hurt. Why take a chance?

Praying to anyone or anything other than your one mediator doesn’t sound right - because it isn’t right.

Something to consider.

Works-based salvation is non-existent. If you add anything to grace, it’s no longer grace. Read Romans 11:6

It’s not in the Bible but some French Fr(friar?) wrote this. The RCC has all of these Councils, Popes, unknown monks and unreferenced traditions to enlighten us poor people.

Thank you ebb tide, for the articles on this belief. I’ve said this before, but I’ll repeat it again: My Protestant Brothers and Sisters, you really should ask yourselves why you have a visceral reaction every…single…time anyone brings up the Catholic belief of the importance of Mary in Salvation history, her pivotal role in salvation, and her example to us of answering Gods call. I think your reaction to someone proposing a Satanic temple does not hold a candle to your personal attacks, mocking, and level of animosity exhibited on these threads posted by people who probably have common ground on 60% of Christian beliefs. This reaction you have does not come from a good place, and I hope you think about that.

I’ll also repeat a quote I heard from a Priest once: you don’t disrespect the Son by respecting the Mother.

How did Mary offer her Son?

She didn't.

11“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12“He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13“He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep. 14“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

17“For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. 18“No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

John 10:11-18 NASB

In this passage John records some very powerful statements by Christ.

In the bolded text John uses the first person pronoun ἐγὼ combined with the verb to record Jesus making an emphatic statement.

He is emphasizing it is He, and He alone, who is doing this.

No one has given Him for a sacrifice other than Himself.

May God bless the reading of His Word.

That Mary obtains for us and distributes to us all graces is a certain doctrine, according to what we have just said about the mother of all men. As mother, she is interested in their salvation, prays for them, and obtains for them the graces they receive.

Perhaps Rome's greatest error. There is absolutely ZERO Scriptural support for any of this claim by Rome.
