Our Lord and Heavenly Father
King of Kings,
And Lord of Lords!
You are The Creator,
Everything That Exists is the Product of Your Magnificent Imagination!
You Are SO Awesome in All Your Ways
When I Look at Landscapes, or Starscapes,
Or Contemplate the Workings of the Human Brain,
The Development of a Baby in the Womb,
Or the Intricacies of the DNA Molecule,
What can I do, but Be Struck with Awesome Wonder,

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

We live in an age of insincere apologies. Most of the time the blubbering speech into the microphone is the result of GETTING CAUGHT, not of true repentance. Other times it is a mere response to days of demands, and an obvious ploy to quiet criticism. Sometimes it is just pure "Virtue Signaling" when there was no offense to begin with! These phony "apologies" are nearly NEVER accepted, and merely make the loser on stage look even worse. In this political climate, it is probably a good policy to NEVER apologize for something that one is NOT guilty of, as it just adds fuel to the enemy's fire.

Unfortunately, a "phony apology" steals the thunder from True Repentance, and a Sincere Attempt to "make things right". Because of the plethora of Drama-Queen Tears, true tears of remorse are often scoffed at. Real apologies are not accepted, the goal posts get moved, the ante is upped, and the one in the hole keeps digging.

There is no way one can "Virtue Signal" the Almighty, Who Knows All and Sees All. Tears of repentance before the One True God must ALWAYS be sincere, and come with the Assurance that one's sins WILL BE forgiven. They will NOT be brought up later on and used against you. God's WORD tells us that they will be "Remembered no More" and thrown into the Sea of Forgetfulness. And the inverse is also true. If you forgive somebody their sin against you, you have no right to bring it up years later.

Saul of Tarsus had a LOT to apologize for. From the moment he held the cloaks of the people who were stoning St. Stephen, he participated in the persecution and murder of men. women, and children who professed Faith in Jesus. God had to BLIND him, temporarily, to get his attention. The result was a man who traveled the Roman Empire with the Gospel, and suffered shipwrecks, stonings, beatings, imprisonment, and humiliation for the sake of Christ.

His Baptism was a part of this process. Although the various Branches of Christianity may disagree on the "rules", all of them have some form of baptism.

It symbolizes the death of the old self, burial, and resurrection to New Life in Christ.
