🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(10/25/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Exodus 2:11-22
Moses Flees to Midian
11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12 Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, “Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?”
14 The man said, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “What I did must have become known.”
15 When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well. 16 Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father’s flock. 17 Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.
18 When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, “Why have you returned so early today?”
19 They answered, “An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock.”
20 “And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat.”
21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. 22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a] saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land.”.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Lord and Heavenly Father
My Lord and My God!
You are a Shield to me,
My Glory,
And The Lifter of My Head.
My Defense,
My Protection,
My Encouragement, My Hope!
You Alone are the One True God Over All!
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”

The Ancient Greek Myth of the Hero has come down to us in the form of The "Superhero". The only problem is that "Superheros" seem to be the ONLY subject matter being promoted these days in literature and film. There are so many Superheroes that the producers of the industry have to keep coming up with new ones, or some new gimmick to put an upgrade on the ancient theme. The latest is a mythical African Superhero who is king of a mythical African kingdom, and drips with political correctness right down to its Title Character, named after a 1960's era Left-Wing radical group. (sigh).
What a number of these new superheroes leave out is the Ancient Greek Hero's "Tragic Flaw" which brings about their destruction. With Hercules it was his Temper, and with several others it was "Hubris". This is in perfect harmony with the Biblical Proverb that "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before the Fall." (my paraphrase). Batman had his angst, and Superman had his Kryptonite. Some of the latest "superheroes" however, struggle with TOO MUCH Angst, hubris, indecision, and "issues", while others are just too darn "perfect" for anyone to really care about! A true hero is strong, but compassionate, sensitive but courageous, vulnerable yet willing to risk all for the sake of righteousness.
In one of my all-time favorite movies, "The Ten Commandments", Moses is portrayed as a superhero. This wasn't difficult, with Charleton Heston in the Lead Role. Moses himself was heroic, but he had a number of tragic flaws. One of these was his temper, which caused him to flee Egypt, much later, kept him out of the Promised Land.
The movie showed all of Moses' actions to be perfectly justified, tweaking the story just a little to eliminate the "Tragic Flaw". The invented character of Dathan (played with masterful wickedness by the Great Edward G. Robinson), and the smarmy Pharaoh portrayed by Yul Brenner (directing his little boy to go over to Moses and kick him in the shins), provided Moses with plenty of "Righteous Anger".
After murdering an Egyptian, Moses flees to Midian (The movie shows him being banished to Midian, but Scripture said he FLED). When he arrives there, he chases away some shepherds who are bullying the daughters of Jethro. This is happening at the site of a Well, and like many other instances in Scripture, that's where Romance Blooms.
Zipporah will find out that it's not always fun being married to a Superhero.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out)
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
