Why? Because they can’t and won’t debate facts. They are shallow, arrogant, obsessive, intolerant, anti-social, overbearing, demanding, selfish, and turn to violence first to satiate their hate. Thanks for posting. How many of us can do what Charlie Kirk advised us to do? I find it hard to pray for his murderer tho’ that’s what the Bible tells us to do and what we all know is right. I guess we should ask for the conviction for ourselves to just do it!

I have the TV on News Nation and Charlie Kirk’s widow is going to speak soon...no time set - just “soon”. I would suspect sometime after the top of the hour. That’s going to be hard to watch but she apparently feels the necessity. I kind of wish she wouldn’t speak now - later but not now..

I was thinking the same thing about the young man who committed this horrible crime. Jesus said to pray for our enemies. He forgave the very people who crucified Him saying, "Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.". Jesus also was killed for His words. Because we believe in a sovereign God, we know that in His perfect will He permitted the assassin's bullet to take Charlie's life. He could have moved his head like Trump did at the last second and he'd still be alive. We may not know this side of heaven the total WHY of what we see as a senseless act was allowed to happen. But God WILL make good come from it. I pray that this man comes to faith in Jesus Christ and truly repents for his deeds.

Jesus taught forgiveness and not vengeance. Vengeance belongs to God - He will repay. But the kind of forgiveness we must exhibit can only come by the grace of God - I know I sure don't have it in me right now. Forgiveness doesn't mean the guy should get away with murder. He should pay the price that Almighty God commanded:

Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind. (Genesis 9:6)

And if a man takes the life of anyone else, he must surely be put to death. (Leviticus 24:17)

Very good sermon. Father said, “This is the first political assassination since 1968 and MLK.” Also, the left concludes that if you cannot win an argument, then violence is necessary. Brutal. It is better to live virtuously for the Lord.

Thank you for your post. According to the news there was a pastor who was involved with passing on the information about WHO committed this horrible deed so he must have had some religious training and if what I heard later yesterday is true that they were a Mormon family, he couldn’t have escaped their teachings. The word pastor isn’t used in that religion as much as positions like elders and others of the church are. Definitely a hierarchy.

We’re all speculating and saddened but I for one, definitely agree with those who point to social media and the crippling effect it has on young people. With all the progressive ideas permeating our society today, kids are growing up with do I go with what’s “cool” or what I have been taught is right? I know - probably “cool” isn’t in their vocabulary.

There were too many here yesterday who were condemning the family and blaming the parents, branding the mother as a liberal because she had written something about her 19 year old son she was proud of. For whatever reason, kids take on a different set of values than the ones they were taught. Neighbors said they were a solid GOP family...We’re all armchair psychiatrists at this point.
