Judges 7:24-25

24 Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and seize the waters of the Jordan ahead of them as far as Beth Barah.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out and they seized the waters of the Jordan as far as Beth Barah. 25 They also captured two of the Midianite leaders, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb at the winepress of Zeeb. They pursued the Midianites and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon, who was by the Jordan.

Forgive Me if I'm Unable to share a story today. I'm overwhelmed, not only with Memories of 9/11/01, but also with the Assassination of Charlie Kirk yesterday.

At first, Today's Scripture seemed totally inappropriate, in light of Current Events. Then I realized that it was about Gideon. Gideon started out with 30,000 and ended up with 300 to do the actual attack. The other 27,000 just went home. That must have really overwhelmed Gideon. Gideon had to be shown that the Victory would come from God.

Come nd Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
