🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(8/20/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
John 2:1-12
Jesus Changes Water Into Wine
2 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 “Woman,[a] why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.[b]
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
How Blessed,
How Glorious,
How Wonderful,
Is Your Most Holy Name!
Your Ways are not our ways,
And yet we hunger and thirst for You,
like a thirsty little deer panting in the forest,
seeking a bubbling spring for a fresh sip of water!
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”

The Bible starts with a Wedding in a Garden, and ends with a Wedding Feast in Heaven. There are other Weddings all through the Book. One of the most famous is the Wedding Feast in Cana, a town by the Sea of Galilee. Jesus was invited, as well as his whole family, as well as all the Disciples and their families too. It must have been HUGE.
As these things sometimes went on for days, it was inevitable that, eventually, the wine would run out. But, since the guests had been partying for some time, even some inferior wine could have saved the day. Evidently that had been used up as well.
Jesus's Mom learned of the situation and mentioned it to her Son. (Of course, Jesus already knew, and this was to be His First Public Miracle). What happens next is interesting. Mary, fully knowing Who Jesus was (and is), didn't press the matter with Jesus. Instead, she whispered to the servants, "Do WHATEVER He Tells You To Do." This was excellent advice. She didn't try to micromanage the situation, round up the servants and present them to Jesus for instructions, or send them out to the marketplace to buy more wine. She didn't even tell the servants that her Son was a Miracle-Worker.
She just said that ONE sentence and that was enough.
Then, presumably, Mary went back to the table to enjoy herself with the other guests.
Then, Jesus spoke directly to the servants, and told them to fill a large number of ceremonial water jars with water. These were big jars. When the wine was drawn from these jars, it was amazing. The Wine Steward was puzzled. Why save the BEST for last?
This Story, (not a parable, a story about something that took place), has so many layers of meaning: about prayer, intercession, water, wine, and even the relationship between God and His People. He deals with us directly, like He did with the servants. He didn't channel His Miracle through the Groom, the Wine Steward, the caterer, or even His beloved Mother.
Mary's words (and so few of them have been recorded in Scripture) are wise words for us to this day:
"Do Whatever He Tells You."
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

I answered your question. Psalm 122. Specifically Verse 6.
You do not have to be abusive.

Amen. What favor Mary had with the servants that they obeyed her command that they should obey this “nobody”. Says a lot about her.
