There is only one angel mentioned in the Bible who would have let a human make that mistake without correction, as Gabriel makes clear in Revelation when John falls before him. That would be the adversary, Satan himself.
I can’t even express the amount of damage George Bush did, when he said we worship the same God. It had a chilling effect in the Intelligence Community. There were studies that were shut down because the propositions were crushed.

This is the same Angel that appears to Abraham, Moses, Gideon, Zechariah, and Joseph. Moses als bows down to the Angel at the Burning Bush.
The God that Christians worship is the Holy Trinity which is why the Moslems consider us polytheists. Allah is by no means the same entity.
In the Orthodox Church we affirm the Nicene Creed during Divine Liturgy. A Muslim would deny the creed pretty much point by point. Sorry, there is no common ground there.
