Oh LORD,
Our God,
How excellent is Your Name Over All the Earth!
You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are Holy;
You Alone Are The One True God.
We Come Into Your Presence With Singing,
And Into Your Courts With Praise.
Dear Father, We Thank You for the People
That You Send Into Our Lives to Refresh Us,
People Who Make Our Journey Easier.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

In a Billy Joel song, there is this lament:

"Your Mama said the only thing I could give you was a 'REPUTATION'" (from "Only The Good Die Young' c 1978 Billy Joel)

A "Reputation" was definitely something we girls didn't want. Sometimes it would happen even if we had done nothing to deserve it. That's why "bearing false witness" is condemned in the Ten Commandments.

However, even in the days before Instant Communications, news traveled fast. The Israelites had a "Reputation" long before they entered the Promised Land. The Plagues of Egypt, the Crossing of the Red Sea, the Miracles in the desert, and the Defeat of some local kings had reached the ears of the Canaanites. The Reputation was two-fold. One was that the Israelites were ferocious Warriors. The other was that their God was more powerful than all of their "gods" put together.

When a "Reputation" is built on Truth, it's a lot more than just hearsay. It's called "Intelligence".
