[Catholic Caucus] Traditionis Custodes: The Narrative Is All Lies

We must thank God today. Many secret documents in the Vatican will never see the light of day for many years, decades, or even centuries. Think about the following:

  1. The papers against Cardinal Rampolla as a member of the OTO, which caused him to be vetoed as Pope in 1903

  2. The 1978 dossier of Cardinal Gagnon, which documented the Masonic corruption of the Vatican and possibly caused the murder of John Paul I

  3. The 2013 dossier which documented Vatican corruption which, Pope Francis admitted, was given to him by Pope Emeritus Benedict

Almost four years ago now, the regime of New Iconoclasm issued Traditionis Custodes, a document filled with false statements, in order to destroy the work of Pope Benedict in “reconciling the Church to herself” (as he says as much in Last Testament).

But TC itself was based on a secret document which no one had ever read. That document was a survey of the world’s bishops asking their advice about Pope Benedict’s “peace treaty” between the two “forms” of the Roman Rite: the “extraordinary form” (i.e. the Apostolic Roman rite) and the “ordinary form” (i.e. the Mass of Paul VI).

Now we can thank God. The stalwart Vaticanista Miss Diane Montagna has now obtained the most important part of that secret document and published the entire thing in its original language and her translation.

The document now published by Montagna is not the full 224 page report of the survey results, but rather the summary document (“overall assessment”) which was given to Pope Francis with the report. She explains: “The overall assessment is precisely the part of the report that synthesizes and interprets the survey results, offering an evaluative conclusion drawn from the evidence.”

Her summary:

The previously undisclosed text, which forms a crucial part of the official report by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on its 2020 consultation of bishops concerning Summorum Pontificum, reveals that “the majority of bishops who responded to the questionnaire stated that making legislative changes to Summorum Pontificum would cause more harm than good.”

The overall assessment directly contradicts, therefore, the stated rationale for imposing Traditionis Custodes and raises serious questions about its credibility.

In studying the secret document, Montagna reveals that Pope Francis acted on the urging of a vocal minority, not the majority:

[W]hat the Vatican’s overall assessment reveals is that the “gaps”, “divergences”, and “disagreements” [about the Latin Mass] stem more from a level of nescience, prejudice and resistance of a minority of bishops to Summorum Pontificum than from any problems originating from adherents to the traditional Roman liturgy.

Conversely, the official CDF report states that “the majority of bishops who responded to the questionnaire, and who have generously and intelligently implemented Summorum Pontificum, ultimately express satisfaction with it.” It adds that “in places where the clergy have closely cooperated with the bishop, the situation has become completely pacified.”

This explains why, four years after Traditionis Custodes, the vast majority of bishops did nothing. (See our assessment even two years later – only isolated dioceses have changed.)

This whole process confirms what many suspected about the Francis Pontificate: that he was implementing the “synodality” of Cardinal Martini and the St. Gallen Mafia, which amounted to what Pentin called The Rigging of a Vatican Synod.

It’s what the Liberals did in 1776 in America, 1789 in France, and everywhere else besides.

It’s what the Communists did in 1870 in Paris, in 1917 in Mexico and then in Russia.

The trick is so obvious that it’s sad that so many still fall for it. Here’s how it works:

  1. Form an elite conspiracy of power hungry heretics

  2. Find an emotional grievance that many people have

  3. Whip up the mob using emotional rhetoric about this grievance

  4. Tell everyone that this mob represents “the people”

  5. Impose your minority will on the majority “in the name of the people”

This is the methodology of Liberalism and its two ugly daughters: Communism and Feminism.

It seems to have also been the methodology of “synodality” under Francis, and so the implementation of Traditionis Custodes is no different. They sent a survey and then plucked what they wanted out of it in order to impose their minority will on the majority. Andrea Grillo and his New Iconoclasts convinced the Holy Father to abrogate himself and act against Tradition.

What’s interesting then, is what we’ve seen in Michigan and North Carolina, which seems to be an attack not only on the ancient Roman Rite, but even the “reverent Novus Ordo.” The strange irony here is that more than ever before, everyone is watching the Masses in Rome. Did you notice the “reverent Novus Ordo” that was Pope Francis’s funeral? Surely you noticed all the Latin chanting that Pope Leo has been doing right?

So why are these American bishops going wild against even the “Reverent Novus Ordo”?

The only reasonable explanation seems to be that they are ideologues taking what opportunity they can to impose their minority will on the majority. Pope Leo has not acted yet on the liturgical controversy, except to make huge statements by his liturgical actions (as Pope Benedict did with Communion on the tongue).

When OnePeterFive was at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, I was approached by a bishop who whispered to me, “You have lots of support. Keeping doing what you’re doing.”

The fact that Montagna has this summary is due to good Bishops and other clergy in the Vatican who understand what’s going on and they are doing whatever they can to stop it (like leaking this to Montagna).

Let us pray God that Pope Leo is given better counselors than Francis!

Whatever happens, thank God that Jesus is on His Eucharistic Throne, now and forever, and unto the consummation of the world!

Synodality is a meaningless term since those pushing it don’t themselves listen to their own surveys.

The cartoon network’s headline: “Traditionis Custodes: The Narrative Is All Lies.” Just happens to be a lie. Additionally, there is no proof of Vatican lies or, more importantly, lies by Pope Francis in the article, just insane speculation on behalf of the posse - ImagineThat!

It is also a lie that the headline, article or insane speculation supports: “This whole process confirms what many suspected about the Francis Pontificate: that he was implementing the “synodality” of Cardinal Martini and the St. Gallen Mafia”

Keep spinning the Big Lie, ebby

Go back to your Gilligan’s Islands reruns, hypocrite.

Fact: Pope Francis did tell the truth. Call it what you want in your fantasy world where you think liars go straight to Heaven.

No, you had it right the last time, ebby. Hey, you got one right! Of course, then you transitioned to the wrong.

Pope Francis did NOT lie. Whereas this commentator from your insane clown posse did lie and you spread the lie - ImagineThat!

Here is the direct language that your cartoon network simply can’t grasp (remember ebby, reading is fundamental) and if you “rely” on the posse you will be retelling lies, aka re-lieing:

“At this time, having considered the wishes expressed by the episcopate and having heard the opinion of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, I now desire, with this Apostolic Letter, to press on ever more in the constant search for ecclesial communion. Therefore, I have considered it appropriate to establish the following...”

The is absolutely no “lie” in that statement, ebby/WrongWay Feldman. WrongWayAgain!/ImagineThat!

If you are curious about the Law of the Prayer promligated it is established in Article 1, which reads as follows:

The liturgical books promulgated by Saint Paul VI and Saint John Paul II, in conformity with the decrees of Vatican Council II, are the unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.

Can the insane clown posse/cartoon network even guess what this means? Based upon the myriad of your posts the answer is clearly, NO. And that ain’t NO lie, ebby.

Should I further help your posse understand the written word, ebby? It means that the Novus Ordo (ironically NO) is considered the SOLE standard for how the Roman Catholic Church prays. It underscores the link between liturgy and doctrine—how the Church prays (lex orandi) shapes and reflects what she believes (lex credendi). ImagineThat!
