Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Deuteronomy 8:6-8

6 Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. 7 For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.

Sorry I'm so late today! My Computer was acting up. It's an "antique", like my phone, my Harley, and myself.

Today's Scripture portion is in the form of Moses reviewing the Journey of the Israelites to the Promised Land. Even though a Generation has passed in the 40 years of travel, people still need to be reminded of God's Provision in the Journey. As Ronald Reagan famously said:

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

When we get to the Book of Joshua and look at the Crossing of the Jordan, we will see that "Freedom isn't Free". As soon as the people begin to eat the produce of the Land, the manna stops falling. Now it's time to get to work keeping Freedom and Prosperity going for the NEXT Generation.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
