Deuteronomy 11:22-25

22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. 24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. 25 No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

The Strangest thing happened this morning as I was setting up this Thread. I was Multi-Tasking, which I do all the time. Sometimes I go overboard and cause the computer to freeze up.

I found a new Photo Hosting Site for my Paintings, and eagerly was uploading images at the same time I was setting up the thread. (This was in response to two of you asking for the posting of my painting of The Cottage). Suddenly, my Antique Mac froze. All of my open tabs went to a different page, and on each page was a version of Ephesians 6, the verse about the "Whole Armor of God". This may have been a Computer glitch, but it seemed significant to me, so I will share the Scripture in the NIV:

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Maybe God is trying to tell me something? It may be, but the Verses about "The Whole Armor of God" are appropriate anytime.
