One of my all time favorite passages by far. It was most beautifully referenced by former Washington Redskins wide receiver Art Monk’s Hall of Fame acceptance speech.

“…Growing up I was never voted the most likely to succeed. And there was never anything about me that would have given anyone the impression that I would have played in the NFL let alone to be standing here.

There’s a scripture that I think about almost every day and I’ve come to personalize it to my life. It says: Lord who am I that you are mindful of me? All of whom had personal interactions with God and Jesus- who saw miracles happen- TRUE miracles like dead brought back to life, lost zppendages restored, (it has been suggested that Peter cut off the centurion’s head, not just an ear, but i dont think that’s been proven, but Jesus could have restored even a cut off head), blind see, truly crippled people walkimg etc etc etc. We dont have thkse things today to. Bolster our faith.

Jesus did say blessed are those who have not seen but who believe still. Far harder to believe when God is silent .like He is today-
