Amen. Praying for Israel and for America and for all of the innocents in harms way. Praying for a hedge of protection around believers and that evil is rebuked today and the curtain is pulled back for all to see the anti-Christ spirit rising up.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

This morning, I stopped to rest during my Morning Walk with Tippy. I sat on the park bench, pulled out my cell phone, and checked the latest headlines. It appears that the patience of Israel has finally reached its Limit, and the tiny nation has attacked the belligerent nation of Iran. I have no idea where this is going to lead, but it does fit Bible Prophecy. Iran is the area that was once called Persia, and there is a lot about Persia in the Old Testament.

While Babylon was the Empire that destroyed the First Temple and forced Israel into Exile, Persia was the Empire that swallowed up Babylon and, eventually, allowed the Jews to return to their homeland and rebuild the Temple. King Cyrus of Persia is revered to this day as having been the first Ancient Ruler to even think about Human Rights (such as they were back then), and a Clay Cylinder expressing this is considered an artifact precious to the entire civilized world.

Since 1979, Iran has been an Islamic Theocracy. One of the earliest act of this "Islamic Revolution" was to invade the US Embassy and hold 52 Hostages for 444 Days. Iran calls The USA "The Great Satan" and Israel "The Little Satan". For 45 years, Iran has supported Terrorism all over the World, especially in Israel. It's very difficult to have a diplomatic conversation with someone who hates you with every fiber of their being.

I normally don't inject politics into this Thread, but we really need to ramp up our prayers. Please pray for Wisdom and Resolve for our own beloved country, that we will be able to discern God's Will in this situation. As always, Pray for Peace, but not at the expense of Freedom and Justice.

As we have learned from the past 45 years with Iran, "Appeasement" doesn't work.
