Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Romans 13:8-14 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Father,

We thank You so much for the gift of Your Son and the forgiveness we have through Him. And we thank You for the great love You demonstrated to us by that. Help us therefore, to love as You have loved us.

In these increasingly evil days, give us the desire, strength, and ability to do what You have called us to do, that is to put on Christ and love one another. Help us to put off the sin that so easily entangles us.

Give us wisdom in how to do that and our speech always seasoned with salt.

Enable us to also show love towards those we are at odds with, or who are at odds with us. Let our responses to them be always godly whether we feel like it or not.

And we ask again, that You would come back soon to establish Your kingdom here on earth and that You would make a final end to sin.

Enable Me To Abide In Your Love

Dear Lord, I know that I am commanded to abide in You and I desire to live my life day by day, simply resting and abiding in You. Teach me Lord how to abide in You, so that all that is of myself will melt away as the Spirit of Christ pulses through my being.

Give me the strength to be a fruitful branch, for You alone are my sufficiency. Enable me to abide in Your love so that I may produce much fruit, out of the abundance of Your grace. In Jesus’ name I pray,

A Prayer of David.

1 Hear a just cause, O Lord; attend to my cry;
give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit.

Amen to your prayer. Though the problems in our governments seem so overwhelming, they are nothing to the power of Almighty God. Thank you for putting that in perspective. Bless President Trump and guide him thru this retched mess, In Jesus Name, Amen.
