He repeated the phrase “hail satan” several times in front of students, but the inappropriate comments were sexual in nature and also using expletives. Back when I was in high school there was still a moniker of moral values in academia, so this would have gotten him barred from teaching for life. Now it’s only 2 years, sadly. Then he’ll be back in black.
When I was in 10th grade in 1976 the Social Studies teacher reminded us students that one of definitions of “Congress” was “sexual intercourse”.
Best lesson I ever got in what politics down in Washington DC really is.
I just don’t get these teachers making problems for themselves where they make their living.
Kids speaking up. That was good. Nice to see the kid realized how inappropriate this was and told his father and spoke to the journalist.
Can’t teach for two years in Arizona?! Should have yanked his teaching license. Are they just waiting for him to come back and then what, some incident ? Just stupid.
Look for Jesse Ruiz to be the next Superintendent of Education in San Francisco.
