Lord God,
We remember them with love and gratitude. Even though their faces and names may have never been known to us, yet we dare not forget them: the many brave soldiers of the past who gave their lives in defense of our freedom. We consider the families who grieved for them----the children who lost their father or mother or brother or uncle. Lord, we remember the mothers and fathers who mourned for their sons and daughters, perhaps lost forever in far-away lands. Hear our prayers of gratitude for those who chose to defend us.
Father, we confess that we take for granted the lives that have been laid down for us. Without the precious freedoms that they have defended, we would become total wards of a governing official----manipulated and maneuvered by the powerful elite of this world. But Father, You know above all. You know the tremendous price that You paid by allowing Your Son to die for us so that we could live with You. Father, help us to recognize You as the Source of true freedom and to seek You and the precious law of liberty that You provide for us out of Your amazing grace.
Lord, it is good that our nation’s people give pause on this weekend set aside to honor those who have gone on before us, and above all to thank You. Help us to do so with honor and respect. Thank You, Lord, for the blessings You heap upon our nation----even in the midst of these trying times. Thank You for President Trump's efforts to build up our military so that America is defended well. Help us to remember with gratitude those within our families who showed us love in so many ways during their days upon this earth. Most of all we thank You for Jesus Christ---our never-failing Savior forever. Help us to remember, Lord. Help us to never forget what Jesus did for all those who will believe in Him. May His Name be glorified each time we pause to give thanks, for it is because of Jesus that we can be free. In His Precious and Most Holy Name we pray, Amen.
Please join us in prayer.
Please join us in prayer.
Amen
Indeed LORD, please redeem our nation to be one worthy of all the incredible sacrifices made on our behalf…
AMEN!
Amen, Faith
Joining in prayer this Memorial Day weekend for our beloved America.
May we have comfort that all those in Christ who gave their lives to protect us home and abroad will rise again in the resurrection.
Lifting up our leaders to His guidance and care.
In Jesus Name
Amen
Amen.
Amen.
Amen
Lord, help us to never forget those who died for us - Jesus Christ and the American soldiers.
Lord, help us to be people worthy of their sacrifices.
Amen !!! <><
Psalm 71
1 In you, O Lord, I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame.
2 In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me;
incline your ear to me and save me.
3 Be to me a rock of refuge,
a strong fortress,* to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the grasp of the unjust and cruel.
5 For you, O Lord, are my hope,
my trust, O Lord, from my youth.
6 Upon you I have leaned from my birth;
it was you who took me from my mother’s womb.
My praise is continually of you.
7 I have been like a portent to many,
but you are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all day long.
9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age;
do not forsake me when my strength is spent.
10 For my enemies speak concerning me,
and those who watch for my life consult together.
11 They say, ‘Pursue and seize that person
whom God has forsaken,
for there is no one to deliver.’
12 O God, do not be far from me;
O my God, make haste to help me!
13 Let my accusers be put to shame and consumed;
let those who seek to hurt me
be covered with scorn and disgrace.
14 But I will hope continually,
and will praise you yet more and more.
15 My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation all day long,
though their number is past my knowledge.
16 I will come praising the mighty deeds of the Lord God,
I will praise your righteousness, yours alone.
17 O God, from my youth you have taught me,
and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
18 So even to old age and grey hairs,
O God, do not forsake me,
until I proclaim your might
to all the generations to come.*
Your power 19and your righteousness, O God,
reach the high heavens.
You who have done great things,
O God, who is like you?
20 You who have made me see many troubles and calamities
will revive me again;
from the depths of the earth
you will bring me up again.
21 You will increase my honour,
and comfort me once again.
22 I will also praise you with the harp
for your faithfulness, O my God;
I will sing praises to you with the lyre,
O Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have rescued.
24 All day long my tongue will talk of your righteous help,
for those who tried to do me harm
have been put to shame, and disgraced.
Oh Lord, we have drifted so far! We have become fat and sassy while the enemy awaits. May this nation wake up, in Jesus Name, Amen!
Amen, and God bless all who served.
My prayers always. God bless.
Amen

Kontakion — Tone 4
I come to You, O Christ, / blind from birth in my spiritual eyes / and I call to You in repentance: / You are the most radiant light of those in darkness!
Resurrectional Troparion
Let us, O faithful, praise and worship the Word Who is co-unoriginate with the Father and the Spirit, and Who was born of the Virgin for our salvation; for He was pleased to ascend the Cross in the flesh and to endure death, and to raise the dead by His glorious Resurrection!
John 9:1-38
Christ is Risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and to those in the tombs bestowing Life!
This is the last Sunday of Pascha in 2025. Lord have Mercy!
Thank-you! Amen!!
Prayers for our nation and praying to rebuke that spirit of anti-Christ attempting to rise up across our land.
Thank you.
