There was a Free Movie at Boston College, and "FREE" is always good for a cheap date, so Mike and I went. We had never heard of the movie, and it was in Swedish with subtitles, so we had no idea what to expect.

It turned out to be the Classic Ingmar Bergman film"The Seventh Seal".

At the close of the movie, a long Passage from The Book of Revelation, is read aloud by an unseen narrator. During the Reading, the Grim Reaper leads a line of all the Characters in the Film as they do the Dance of Death across the landscape. This cheery ending made the point that, no matter what our station is life may be, or how clever we are, or brave or wealthy, we can't escape the inevitable end. I was so impressed by the movie that I forgave Max Von Sydow for playing Jesus in "The Worst Jesus Movie Ever Made".

Not even a brilliant Filmmaker like Ingmar Bergman could ever capture the Glory of John's Vision on the Island of Patmos. While some may argue that AI and CGI can come up with something truly amazing, the artificiality of the images will always be evident. There's just no capturing it. When an Artist, real or artificial, tries to capture the Lamb with Seven Eyes and Seven Horns, sitting on a Throne and looking as if it had been slain, the images will always be "wanting". There is a REASON God forbade us from attempting to produce images of Him. They will never be good enough.

The Holy Spirit is described in this Passage as "The Seven Spirits of God". We also use the term "The Sevenfold Spirit of God". He is ONE, but He is Perfect. Seven is the Biblical Number that indicatesPerfection. This Verse also states that The Spirit has been all over the Earth. This indicates His Omnipresence, which means He's Everywhere, All the Time, Simultaneously. This seems to fly in the face of the Laws of Physics, but since God created the Laws of Physics in the first place, it's no problem for Him.
