Oh dear...I had a big long essay written this morning, and it suddenly crashed, and I lost it all.

It was about doing all the "Prep Work" I need to do before even starting to Paint, and I compared it to a Movie Director having to have all the ducks in a row before even beginning to shoot the sequence. I understand now why it took TEN YEARS for Francis Ford Coppola to make Apocalypse Now. Not that painting my 750 sq ft Mobile Home will take ten years, but it just might take all Summer. Ugh!

The Book of Ezekiel is like an Epic Movie, and The Holy Spirit is the Director. Ezekiel is called upon to play some very difficult scenes, and finds himself cutting off his hair and burning it, lying on his side for weeks at a time, and crawling through a hole in the wall of the sanctuary to be confronted with a horrible scene of debauchery and idolatry.

Not only is The Holy Spirit the Director, He is also The Set Designer, Screenwriter, and Special Effects Producer.

And, it's all under His control.
