In a conversation with my Sister, I was reminded of a very cool story to share. It's more appropriate for tomorrow's Scripture Passage, so I will save it for tomorrow. (Hint, it's about a Doctor, a Communist Country, and a Pig). Aha! Now that I have your attention, I'm going to change the subject.

Today's Scripture tells us that The Holy Spirit baptizes us into One Body. This is The Body of Christ that is spoken of in Scripture. There is do distinction between Races, Nationalities, Social Classes, Languages, or Ethnicity. We are One in Christ.

This is perhaps the most "revolutionary" idea ever promoted by any religion in the Ancient World.

Unity, not Diversity, is the Work of the Holy Spirit in the Lives of believers. This doesn't negate our Individuality however. We are One, but we are many.

How can this be? It's one of those "Mysteries" that make Christianity unique.
