In a recent interview with Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, Musk admitted admiration for Christianity:
”While I’m not a particularly religious person, I do believe that the teachings of Jesus are good and wise. … I would say I’m probably a cultural Christian. There’s tremendous wisdom in turning the other cheek.
He went on to say that Christian beliefs,
”result in the greatest happiness for humanity, considering not just the present, but all future humans. … I’m actually a big believer in the principles of Christianity. I think they’re very good.”
His use of the term “cultural Christian” was not an accident. It came as he and Peterson discussed arch-atheist Richard Dawkins’ recent confession that he, too, considers himself a “cultural Christian.” Dawkins even admitted that he enjoys Christmas carols and cathedrals, and thinks Christianity, in contrast to Islam, makes for a “fundamentally decent” civilization.
A few days ago, Musk went even further when he agreed with rapper and social media influencer Zuby, who wrote that it was foolish and prideful to remove the “foundation” of Christian religion and expect the “building” of Western civilization to stand. “I think you’re probably right,” replied Musk.
…There is now a rather striking lineup of current, former, and (perhaps) wavering unbelievers now praising belief.
Within days of claiming the “cultural Christian” title, Musk said in response to the Opening Ceremony mess, “Unless there is more bravery to stand up for what is fair and right, Christianity will perish.”
Cultural Christianity recognizes that the blessings of a Christian worldview do extend beyond the community of actual believers. That view of reality has blessed so many precisely because it is true. We should pray for those who seem to be softening toward that Truth to recognize Christ as such.

Very nice description of his position. A kind and good man. I’m impressed again.
I don’t remember Musk saying he was a cultural Christian.
BreakPoint was a project of Chuck Colson, now run by others. It used to be Colson with radio “shorts” on a whole lot of pre-Rush radio stations in the US. All the crap the CommieDems who setup Nixon with derp state watergate, all they said about Colson was nasty as usual and he had a major epiphany. Died in 2012 am thinking.
Not a bad starting point at all. I like the term Classical Christianity. It is the title of the book used in the Christianity course I had to take at Linfield college. It is a study of Christianity before the Papal Estates became the Papal States, and before the Christian Church became the Catholic Church.
“Prayers that Elon Musk will come to fullness of the truth in both his public and private life. President Trump also.”
Maybe they have. Maybe you aren’t the judge of that “fullness” or Truth. You have yours, you don’t dictate to the rest of us.
It’s really no one’s business but their own. What they do constitutionally is the only concern anyone should have.
This is not a theocracy.
Trump agrees with me. But has to babysit the dogma Churchies to keep them from losing their minds.
Leave religion out of public policy.
“I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies”
Ben Franklin
“Religion I found to be without any tendency to inspire, promote, or confirm morality, serves principally to divide us and make us unfriendly to one another.”
Ben Franklin
The sooner they truly find Jesus Christ the better.
Conversions often begin with the desire to have what a Christian has. Faith sometimes begins with small steps.
As per Ben Franklin in 1787:
I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth -- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that "except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it." I firmly believe this… I therefore beg leave to move -- that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that service.”
[[Leave religion out of public policy.]]
NO!
[[”While I’m not a particularly religious person, I do believe that the teachings of Jesus are good and wise]]
He’s much more than a ‘good teacher’- He is God incarnate-

Excellent Quote by franklin and full of truth- The Constitution was NEVER meant to kick religion out of politics- nor out of government- it was meant only to prevent gov from FORCING others to accept a particular religion on penalty of law if they refused- Godless nations don’t fare so well- Ben wisely came to understand that fact-

LOL, and anyone cares what an unbeliever says about Christians???
It’s always a good thing when someone is open to Christ.
There are a lot of people in Musk’s position that we need to pray for to come to a saving knowledge of Christ in genuine conversion.
Both for eternity’s sake and “our planet’s” as Musk would say, we need Jesus! —
And some tough times do lay ahead for the righteous because the forces of darkness are M A D.
