A Missionary from Africa comes to the United States and shares with a concerned Christian how he feels the church in America is being deceived and in great danger. The Christian is very convicted by what he hears, makes a significant change in his life, and then sets forth a plan to reach his city with the Gospel.

A little info. I had thought this was a Rich Christiano film but it is by his brother Dave Christiano. I just noticed (LOL).

I exchanged a few emails with Dave waaaay back - 20+ years ago. I had never seen this film until a couple of nights ago and I thought it was generally pretty good.

I have not emailed Dave for a LONG time. But the brothers are always doing films for the Gospel which is why I put this in Religion.

No, I do not make a single cent off this posting - but I thought I'd throw it out there for the ping list and a few others that might want a break from all of the news and other stuff going on in the world.

The film is family-friendly and might provide a break from a world of trash TV and Hollywood.

I dunno - but I hope a few maybe even lurkers out there enjoy it - I started thinking about posting it just yesterday (I throw a few Christian movies out here from time-to-time)

A couple of side notes:

You will easily recognize Michael Gross from “Family Ties”

Not so easy to spot, yes, Patty Duke, BION. I certainly didn’t recognize her for much of the film - it is interesting that she chose to appear in a Christian film (same for Michael Gross).

I also discovered that Rowdy Roddy Piper was in a Christian outreach film (it seems) just before he passed. I was surprised to learn that.

As near as I can tell, this was Patty Duke’s last film - she passed away in early 2016 but one Wiki entry says this film was released in 2018. There is also a note that she didn’t pass while performing in a film.

This one was well done, the young actors and actresses were exceptional. A good message!
