A little over 10 years ago, Vice President Joe Biden became the point man to solve the crisis of thousands upon thousands of parentless children illegally entering America along its Southern Border. Over the spring and summer of 2014, over 60,000 unaccompanied minors—some as young as four—came across the Mexican border. Most of them were boys, 13 to 17. There were girls too. It was the cartels who brought them. The crimes most of those children endured are unspeakable.
This outbreak of child trafficking was done in conjunction with Pope Francis’s Catholic Church. Why do I say that? Because Francis had a good friend named Theodore McCarrick, a truly evil man masquerading as a cardinal. The pope’s friend, known to the Church for decades as a rapist of altar boys and seminarians, was instrumental in getting then-Cardinal Bergoglio elected pope in 2013.
Theodore McCarrick was also a friend of then-Vice President Joe Biden, and his White House operatives Mike and Tom Donilon. Obama’s then-chief of staff Denis McDonough met so frequently with McCarrick in his West Wing office they could have been plotting something significant, which they were.
Why do I say the cartels were involved? Because in 2014 they were also business partners with Joe Biden.

The media would have you believe Joe Biden solved the unaccompanied minor crisis through a pet project he announced in November 2014 which he called the Alliance for Prosperity. What they haven’t told you is that a third of the $1.5 billion of “assistance” from the Alliance for Prosperity went to Honduras, a country whose president, Juan Orlando Hernandez, was part of a cartel gang then smuggling cocaine into the United States BY THE TON.
When he was vice president and also later when he was president, Joe Biden knew of and condoned the Hondurans’ cocaine smuggling, and he also knew of McCarrick’s work on behalf of Pope Francis’s promotion of “refugee” resettlement. Joe Biden did not solve that “crisis.” He exploited it.
What started as cartels ushering 62,000 kids illegally into the United States in 2014, evolved into Joe Biden’s illegal immigration invasion that Americans witnessed from January 2021 to January 2025. It has only been since the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump that this almost insurmountable evil has been halted.

Who did Obama visit in the Vatican in March 2014? Pope Francis and Cardinal Parolin. Who traveled with Pope Francis to the Holy Lands in May 2014? Theodore McCarrick. Who did McCarrick meet with in Washington immediately upon returning from that trip? White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Relief Services. Who did Pope Francis send to Mexico in July 2014 to speak to the cartels, er the government, about further liberalizing their border policy? Cardinal Parolin. And who did McCarrick visit in the White House in August 2014 to plan Biden’s hideous Alliance for Prosperity? Denis McDonough.
Evil can’t refute facts. These are facts: Joe Biden, Denis McDonough, Theodore McCarrick, and Pope Francis put Jesus’s Church into the business of drug smuggling and human trafficking with cartel devils.
Another fact is President Donald Trump, who wants to stop drug smuggling and human trafficking, is now in direct opposition to Pope Francis. Not only has Trump moved decisively to stop illegal crossings at all our borders, but he’s ordered large-scale deportations of illegal immigrants. Border czar Tom Homan is making good on that. Then there’s Elon Musk and his DOGE operatives shutting down the funding of hundreds of millions of dollars to Catholic “refugee” assistance organizations. Pope Francis and his globalist allies are panicking.
In media appearances defending Trump’s border crackdown, Vice President J.D. Vance has explicitly connected the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops with Joe Biden’s fake immigration policies that are, in reality, human trafficking.
Vance, in a January 26th interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS’s Face the Nation, first declared himself a heartbroken Catholic over a USCCB condemnation of President Trump’s new immigration policies. Then he said: “And I think that the US Conference of Catholic Bishops needs to actually look in the mirror a little bit and recognize that when they receive over $100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants, are they worried about humanitarian concerns? Or are they actually worried about their bottom line? We’re going to enforce immigration law. We’re going to protect the American people. Donald Trump promised to do that. And I believe the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, if they’re worried about the humanitarian costs of immigration enforcement, let them talk about the children who have been sex trafficked because of the wide open border of Joe Biden.”
Taking it one step further, on January 29th, he told Sean Hannity on Fox News: “But there’s this old school—and I think it’s a very Christian concept, by the way, that you love your family and then you love your neighbor, and then you love your community, and then you love your fellow citizens in your own country, and then after that, you can focus and prioritize the rest of the world.”
The attacks that followed were so broad and bitter, Vance had to reply. On January 30th, he helpfully commented to one critic on X, “Just google ‘ordo amoris.’ Aside from that, the idea that there isn’t a hierarchy of obligations violates basic common sense.”
That did it. The Vatican lefties went nuts. El Papa undid his belt. Pope Francis had to have his say. And that came in his February 10th Letter to the Bishops of the United States of America when he subtly attacked Vance: “Christians know very well that it is only by affirming the infinite dignity of all that our own identity as persons and as communities reaches its maturity. Christian love is not a concentric expansion of interests that little by little extend to other persons and groups.”
As a man who converted to Catholicism AFTER the McCarrick scandal was made public, J.D. Vance is untainted by Pope Francis and his sleazy history. Vance was a private citizen for most of Pope Francis’s papacy. He chose the Catholic Church, despite its flaws, because he saw something redeeming in it.
Vice President also has a clean slate in Washington. His entry to national politics wasn’t until 2023, during Joe Biden’s disastrous presidency. He didn’t vote for the Alliance for Prosperity in 2014. The Honduran drug smuggling episode ended in 2022 as he was running for the Senate seat in Ohio. And he owes no allegiance to the intelligence community, which is where the defilement of the Catholic Church originated from.
That our Vice President is young and close to Trump bodes well. He is intelligent, articulate, and exceptionally effective at confronting media bias and misinformation. Trump benefited greatly from J.D. Vance’s political instincts and skills during their successful campaign when the whole world was watching.
But will talented Vice President direct his skills in a much-needed rehabilitation of the Catholic Church? That remains to be seen.
Based on how Vice President Vance handled himself at the Munich Security Conference, I’d say the signs are good. Vance gave those Euros a good, old hillbilly whooping. All he had to do was tell them the truth: Europe’s most serious problems are internal.
Tragically backdropping that message was the awful Munich car ramming attack in which some 30 pedestrians were gravely injured by an Afghan asylum seeker the day before he gave his speech. Vance, of course, eloquently began his speech with calls for thoughts and prayers for the “beautiful community of Munich.”
He then laid into the gathering of military and national security professionals and diplomats for how dismissive European leaders have been of their citizens’ basic rights for free speech, personal safety, and democratic representation.
After saying, “And of all the pressing challenges that the nations represented here face, I believe there is nothing more urgent than mass migration,” he added, “Contrary to what you might hear a couple of mountains over in Davos, the citizens of all of our nations don’t generally think of themselves as educated animals or as interchangeable cogs of a global economy.”
That’s some good hillbilly stuff.
But he’s also a polished politician who knows his audience. It’s no surprise Vice President J.D. Vance concluded his powerful remarks with: “As Pope John Paul II, in my view one of the most extraordinary champions of democracy on this continent or any other, once said, ‘Do not be afraid.’ We shouldn’t be afraid of our people even when they express views that disagree with their leadership.”
As far as a rehabilitation of the papacy and the Vatican, there is much to hope for with J.D. Vance in the White House, especially as Catholics make up about 40 percent of President Trump’s Cabinet. This has been an especially dark period of history for our country and the Catholic Church. It’s going to be a long process to confront and eliminate the evil within. J.D. Vance appears to be just the man to do it.

By Confirmation, one becomes a soldier of Christ and is promised in the received sacramental grace the actual graces to defend the faith in the public sphere.

I wasn’t criticizing him at all. I said it wasn’t his job. He’s the VP of the US. What he does in his personal life is up to him but not as a representative of his country.
