A few years, the Holy Father wrote to the bishops of the United States giving them permission to starve thriving parishes and families by arbitrarily and illegally banning the immemorial Roman rite of Holy Mass in their church buildings. Some gleefully worked on behalf of this cruel and senseless edict of shame by, in some cases, kicking up to 90% of a parish population out of their spiritual home. Spiritual homelessness and starvation have as a result reached new heights, placing countless souls in eternal jeopardy.
We all turn to the Lord in prayer that families suffering from the sudden withdrawal of the traditional Latin Mass may find the strength to endure. With you, we pray that the U.S. bishops keep their prior commitments to help those in desperate spiritual need.
Please pray so that we may find the courage as a church to build a more humane system for migration of souls from the homelessness of earth to the eternal homeland of heaven, one that protects our families’ true spiritual good while safeguarding the dignity of all.

As I read this, with great respect to the sentiment and to Pius XII, it occurs to me that there are differences between what we see in the Holy Family and what we see today in the movement of peoples, especially at the US southern border.
Also, correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t what the Trump administration doing, even by the Church’s own teaching, “repatriation” and not “deportation”? If I remember correctly, when the Church (Gaudium et spes?) speaks of causing people to move from one place to another, it’s about the ejection of people from their proper, chosen place. That’s “deportation”. Sending people out of a country they do not belong to back to where they came from is not “deportation”, it is “repatriation”. Am I wrong?
Thank you for that Ebb Tide!
The Marxian Globalists are, as usual, distorting the historical record to justify themselves!.
1) The Holy Family did leave one local jurisdiction for another. Furthermore, they fled due to the threat of murder by government.
2) Legio II “Cyrenaica” may well have defended them from robbers, but it wasn’t going to do anything about Herod’s goons.
You forgot:
3) The Holy Family returned home.
No, I didn’t forget. I pointed out the kernel of truth that the heretics abuse.
I read somewhere - non-biblical but that the gifts of the Magi was used to finance their fleeing to Egypt.
God wants you Latin Mass goers, having found a deeper sense of faith, trying to become closer to God somehow, and for your children,......to experience what Jesus did when he came to us in flesh. No good need goes unpunished, for love.
Here’s a good helping if greater suffering for you now that you live Him more, are trying to. That’s God’s way of answering yoyr orayers and wants of grester closeness.....greater distance, literally.
Hang in there, more tenaciously than evrr, but more lovingly, more humbly.
Don’t get mad: get holy.....loving, meeker, humbler, sweeter, like Jesus showed you, the Apostles showed you, Mary showed you.
It’s counterintuitive in this-world thinking. Roll with it, even to no where to go. God sees. Hold fast.
