Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Most people would look at the size of the mountain, but the size of the mountain is not the issue, the power of the word is the issue. Notice, it says, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove. Well, faith comes by hearing the word of God. So, the question is do you have a word from God, that word is the power of God. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. And God said in Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. That word void means without fruit, not sufficient to produce it's effect. What is the effect of the word, to produce a corresponding manifestation. Notice, you shall say remove and it shall remove. They had a word, "Cast out devils", and you cast out devils with your words. Now we know mountains can't move on their own, but the force of faith will. That force comes from the word, the word of faith. Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So, you can't separate faith from the word. So, if the word is in your heart then faith is in your heart. To the degree that the word is in your heart faith is in your heart. And when you release it, it is designed and powerful enough to produce a corresponding manifestation.
You see in Genesis 1 God said and it was so, he saw. So, the words He released produced a corresponding manifestation. Someone is probably saying, Well that was God. And it was also God that said that his word will not return to him void, but will accomplish. Accomplish what, a corresponding manifestation when it's released from your heart and out of your mouth. Just like Jesus in Mark 11 when he spoke to that fig tree, he said and it was so, he saw. Someone still probably thinking well that was Jesus. Yes, but look at what he said in Matthew 21:21 about that, Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. Now, watch this God himself made the earth, moon, and sun and set the earth in it's rotation. And you see in Joshua 10:12-14 a word from God out of a man's mouth stopped the earth. The earth rotates around the sun, what happened is the earth stood still. Now, which is bigger a mountain or the whole earth. So, don't get caught up on the size of the mountain, look at the power of the word you speak. It is always powerful enough to produce a corresponding manifestation, but it has to be released out of your heart and mouth.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God bless you Frank 😇🙏🛐✝️
Scholars believe Jesus was pointing to the man made mountain that was the tomb of Herrod the Great when he said this.
Regards,
This is a common mistake made by non-native speakers: The Earth revolves around the Sun (once every year).
And the Earth rotates on its own axis (once every 24 hours).

How do they know ow that he wasn’t pointing beyond the tomb to perhaps another monument or structure?
So, is the correct term to someone “sit on it and rotate “? Or sit on it and revolve? Lol (old insult to someone back in the 80’s lol)

It may take 100 years, after the original visionaries pass on, yet... "gone":

I once heard a great sermon on that verse . Yes, the mustard seed is small: most folks concentrate on its size. But the characteristics inside that seed are more important. It will GROW and not give up to any climate vagaries. Message being- don’t give up!
Right on, conductor john. Can DO:
Hebrews 11
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
It's a time-honored process:
1 Corinthians 3
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Here's something funny in the simple explanation of the Hebrew word for "mustard":
Heh, talk about "on the dot", the evidence of things not seen. The Arabic etym link then goes to:חרדל
Etymology Of uncertain ultimate origin; see Arabic خَرْدَل (ḵardal).
EtymologyUncertain, previous comparisons to an Akkadian source have been depreciated as uninformed readings; compare Hebrew חַרְדָּל (ḥardal), Jewish Palestinian Aramaic חרדלא (ḥardlā), Jewish Babylonian Aramaic חַרְדְּלָא (ḥardlā), Classical Syriac ܚܪܕܠܐ (ḥardlā), and potentially Akkadian 𒄷𒊏𒁺 (/ḫurādu/, “unidentified aromatic plant possibly in reference to mustard seeds; aromatic seed or spice mix”, literally “pebbles, little stones”); perhaps connected ultimately to Proto-Semitic *ḥaraθ- (“to sow, to plant seeds, to till, to plow, to cultivate”) or Sumerian 𒌑𒄯𒄯 (/ḫarḫar/, “unidentified plant yielding seeds used as a spice”) of uncertain provenance.
There's a verse for that 'unidentified' aromatic plant that will GROW and not give up:
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Add in that the sense of smell is the most spiritual of them all. (1 min read)
"Smell is intangible, yet very intuitive. It represents one's internal compass."
No shortage of down-to-earth living parables out there, at-the-ready to provide solid understanding of the intangibles.
Have a great day!
