When the wicked, even their enemies and their foes, came upon them to eat up their flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against them,our hearts shall not fear; though war arise against us, [even then] in this will we be confident.

Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation! Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me]. Give me not up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me; they breathe out cruelty and violence. [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!
Gracious and almighty God, we wait and hope for and expect You; we will be brave and of good courage and let our hearts be stout and enduring. Yes, we wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

Prayers for the spiritual and political exorcism of all that is wicked and evil within the halls of power in our country. For the dismantling of every corrupt web of bureaucracy.
For the LORD to control our spending and upend our federal waste.
100 day DIVINE RESET! in Jesus’ name!

When we consider the Proverbs, as the one above, we are tempted to gloss over and not deeply value the words. Yet even our Lord while on earth put His imprimatur on even the very jots and tittles of these sayings written 1000 years prior to the arrival of the Babe in Bethlehem.
Father, if it is not presumptuous, we finally rejoice that America has its own Josiah; one determined to bring righteousness back to our land and rid our country of the perverseness of decades. Self-righteous prigs are assaulting his orders and appointments. Silly infidels garbed in pharisaical judicial robes haughtily deem their fleeting impulses as pre-eminent. We ask You now to sweep these judges out of office; that their pomp might be turned to shame.
Father, my the righteous rejoice and may the wicked groan.
