Could Elon Musk be the means by which God is answering our prayers?
Earlier this week we learned that Elon Musk has taken a 9.2% stake in Twitter, making him the largest single shareholder with his $2.64 billion investment. This disclosure was followed by the announcement that he will take a seat on the company board.
This purchase came on the heels of great speculation about Musk and Twitter. Just a few weeks before, Musk tweeted that the social media company is “failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamental fundamentally undermines democracy.”
All of this put hope in the hearts of freedom lovers – and intercessors – that the Maverick Musk is positioning himself to change Twitter’s practices and to embrace freedom of speech and free debate. This hope was further encouraged by analyzing the fact that he filed a 13D form with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, instead of a 13G form. A 13D form indicates that he will be an active investor and not a passive investor.
Why is this significant?
We have been praying for freedoms in America. Freedom of speech. Freedom of religion. Big tech billionaires have collectively coordinated the squelching of freedoms through banning “misinformation,” enforcing “community standards,” and other subtle and blatant forms of censorship.
But let’s consider what could happen in the event of serious attempts to change the “standards” of the left-leaning social media platform.
Twitter would release an avalanche of attacks by the cultural elites, declaring that Twitter is now a platform for racism, transphobia, white supremacy, terrorism, and increasing list of false labels and accusations. Even the Department of Justice would probably get involved. You might remember the Domestic Terror Alert recently sent out because of issues like Covid vaccines and mandates.
The backlash would be immediate and likely include legal action because of fears about “exposure” to legal liability. Other organizations begin to sever relationships with Twitter. Southern Poverty Law Center would describe it as a hate platform.
Additionally there are powerful forensic labs utilized by some of the most powerful companies in world that search organizations and individuals on the internet to label them as sources of misinformation. This lab’s algorithms are determined by cultural elites exerting their world view on us.
Then blackballing by celebrities, powerful activists, influential journalists would work together to take the public image of Twitter, drag it through the mud, and demonize it like those of us are demonized for believing God created man and women as the design for sexuality and marriage. Google and Apple would take Twitter out of their app stores.
Who would be crazy enough to fight this fight?
Elon Musk. The richest man in the world, iconoclastic, known to do what he wants, not bending to what is expected of him.
Let’s pray for Elon Musk:
Pray he would be saved and surrender his life to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Pray he would live the life that God has planned for him (Jer 29:11) and do the works that God wills (Eph 2:10). Pray he would seek God and His ways, humbly understanding that God’s plan is always the best for anyone’s life. Pray he would realize the true treasure in life is knowing God. We love this from Devoted to God Now: “If Elon were to ask the Lord for His plan for his life, he would find answers he’s still seeking. Power and placement in the world is one thing. Power and placement in the kingdom of God holds true treasures.” Pray he would impact Twitter for good, promoting free speech and free debate. We need to be mindful that Elon has never been a card-carrying member of the Republican Party, nor an adoptee of every plank of the MAGA platform for that matter. And yet there are people who are, who have backstabbed Trump and betrayed the movement at its most crucial junctures. Elon has not, and he does not deserve the vitriol being recklessly thrown his way at the moment.
Again, let's not blow it. Let's PRAY for Elon and give credit where it's due. And let's not shy away from HEALTHY disagreements and debate when they emerge within the movement.
Never trust a foreigner like Musk who illegally enters the US.
Elon Musk entered legally.
It doesn’t matter if he did.
He saved the Republic. He made the USA dominant in space, once again.
He is the genius of the age.
It would benefit us to have a million like him, if we could, but he is unique.

He’s an aspect. He’ll always overreact and then quietly change back. Unless Trump can somehow contain him.

As I said, it does not matter now. He is a U.S. citizen.
I doubt if he will be or could be prosecuted, because the Biden administration would have done so. The Biden administration considered Musk to be an enemy.

Something very interesting and openly obvious is happening amid the backlash that Elon Musk and the Silicon Valley network are facing to their H1B position.
Effective December 26, Elon Musk changed the Twitter algorithm to dimmish those voices who would openly confront his network of supporters within Silicon Valley and beyond. If large follower Twitter accounts, like those of Musk himself, David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy and Musks’ promoted network of influencers begin blocking accounts on the platform, then the voices of those accounts get purposefully diminished by the algorithm.
“An immigration attorney advised Zip2’s co-founders to downplay their leadership role with the company and scrub their résumés of U.S. addresses that might suggest they were already living and working in the United States, according to documents obtained by The Post. The attorney also advised Musk to obtain passport-size photos and apply to the U.S. “visa lottery.” ... Musk has never publicly acknowledged his period of illegal status, conceding only that he lived for a time in an immigration “gray area.” But his visa issues could raise separate questions for his security clearance, which he holds as the CEO and founder of SpaceX, an aerospace company with billions of dollars in federal contracts. “At a minimum, a determination that he had been less than truthful with immigration authorities would absolutely be something that security authorities could separately consider as casting doubt on his trustworthiness and good judgment,” Bradley Moss, a lawyer who works in security clearance law, wrote in an email. “If his name was anything but Elon Musk,” Moss said, “the odds are his security clearance would more than likely face revocation under those circumstances.”

I’m sure that without Twitter/X allowing free speech, many more people would have been brainwashed and I’m not sure Trump would have won.

What exactly is Elon (and perhaps Vivek) saying that want with H1B? Is he saying he wants H1B for the stated purpose of getting into the U.S. the 0.00001% of the people in the world who can do a certain kind of heart surgery on certain patients in certain situations? Or for the few who can program a database engine from scratch that can do not only relational query storing and retrieving, but also do vector-embedding for AI? Is he saying H1B is the way to get the next Wernher Von Braun to keep our advances in space?
If that's the case then I agree with Elon. But I'm against Elon if he's wanting more of the abused version of H1B for run of the mill programmers and engineers and doctors as cheap labor. I haven't heard Elon go into detail on which one he's talking about.

Also, MAGA voted in Trump, not Elon. Scott Presler did more to elect Trump than Elon. Scott managed to flip Pennsylvania and help flip other States too.
