The Episcopal Church announced yesterday that it had divested entirely from the fossil fuel industry, marking the “culmination of a decade-long shift toward environmentally conscious investments and a significant milestone in the church’s more than 50-year history of socially responsible investing,” according to a press release by the denomination.
With a median congregational age of 69, the Episcopal Church is literally dying. This denomination is thoroughly depraved and ceased long being Christian decades ago, with perhaps only a fraction of a percent of real believers left. Abortion and LGBTQ have long since been lauded and celebrated, and if you throw a stone into a group of Episcopalian priests, a third will be gay, another third will have they/them pronouns, and the rest will be miracle-denying atheists who’d just as soon defecate on the bible than deliver it as God’s word. I mean, just look at our last post about them: Episcopal Pastrix Praises Polyamory as ‘Beautiful, God-given shade of the rainbow’
Proposed by the Executive Council Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR) and approved by the 81st General Convention last summer, the devilish denomination made good on their goal to rid themselves of these investments and instead “reinvest divested fossil fuel company assets in clean energy alternatives.”
Speaking of divestments, it was at this conference that the Episcopal Church’s House of Bishops narrowly rejected a resolution declaring Israel an apartheid state and initiating a complete divestment from their country, along with a resolution that expressed solidarity and support for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions Movement.
Despite failing resolutions, the church’s Executive Council has previously adopted investment-portfolio restrictions in five categories: “human rights, military contracting, for-profit prisons, tobacco products, and fossil fuels.” Israel banks and businesses remain a target for the first category, along with companies like Caterpillar that supply Israel with heavy engineering machinery.
So I guess they prepare their communion bread/wafers over an open fire, in the manner of chestnuts.
“Episcopalians Announce They’ve Successfully Divested From Christianity”
They don’t need money.
It saves a lot of money when you don’t have to bother heating or cooling empty buildings, paying salaries, or doing anything.
preparing for chapter 7
love it when woke lefties groups die off .
Enjoy the SUCK
What a joke, cause if this is true the world has gone insane.
There’s an Episcopal “church” in my town that has a huge “Black Lives Matter” sign out front...but no cross to be seen.
Gee....portfolios, investments, investment sectors.
Divestments.
One would think that they’re running a business or something. Regardless. I bet you they’re running NGOs to spirit illegals all other this country - on buses and planes that run on some type of fossil fuel.
So untrue. Absolutely everything they’ve invested in is dependent of “fossil fuels”.
Guarantee there are ICE vehicles in their parking lots.
Oh, and put this sign up at every entrance.
Idiots
Good! More for us!
I divested myself from the pissycopalians a long time ago. Still short of burning my baptism cert. Fookin’ idjits!
From one of their “churches”...
“Saint Mark’s Cathedral is an inclusive community that welcomes all; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and nonbinary/gender-nonconforming people participate fully in the life of the church. In The Episcopal Church, the sacraments of Holy Matrimony and Ordination are available to all without regard to gender. [LGBTQ+ Ministry]”
They’ll have a hell of a time paying off their pedophile priest settlements thinking that way.

Same here, but no BLM posters, but plenty of gay rainbow flags everywhere.
Back in the 80s I dated a girl that had a cousin that was Reverend at a local Episcopalian church.
We went over to visit one late afternoon and I noticed he was drinking martini’s in a tumbler.
After about a half hour he excused himself and a bit later came out wearing his vestments and excused himself as he had to go perform services.
I have my issues with alcohol but I doubt I’d ever put myself in that situation.
I guess that’s why they are referred to as “whiskeypalians”.
“The Episcopal Church announced yesterday that it had divested entirely from the fossil fuel industry . . .”
Those silly people have no idea how the electrons that flow into their buildings were energized.
