I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Gracious Lord, we bless You with all that is within us and we do not forget the benefits we have because of the finished work of Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary. We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, and we come into Your courts with praise. We are thankful unto You, Father, and we bless Your Holy and Awesome Name. You are good, Lord God, and Your mercy endures forever. May Your Name be praised and honored both now and evermore.
Lord, Our forefathers prayed for this nation, petitioning Your will to be done. We come before You now also, for Your promise is to bless the nation that turns to You and that leaves its wicked ways. Strengthen us, Father, and give us the courage to stand against the wiles of the devil. Let us not be deceived: our lives do make a difference even against all the worldliness, against false teachings, against false gods in this culture, and against spiritual wickedness. Representing Your Kingdom each day in a godly manner shall bring salt and light to a dark world.
We offer our prayers for Your protection and restoration of Israel. May You strengthen her borders and place a hedge about all who dwell there. May all those still recovering from injury, loss, sorrow and despair be helped and comforted. You are the only hope in the midst of this horrible act of terrorism perpetrated by those who hate Your people. Lord, we ask You to give courage and strength to the Israeli military and all those who are helping from America and other nations. Please let there be a way of escape for any hostages who remain, Dear Lord. We ask You to comfort and defend any Americans in the Middle East as well so that they may return home safely.
Lord, we continue to seek Your wisdom and strength for our newly-elected President Trump and VP Vance. Please guide their decision-making and give them great discernment. May Your angels surround them always and may they be able to spend time with their family members this week.
We exalt You, O God, above the heavens. May Your glory be praised this day and forevermore. Thank You for being the God of America, the God of all creation, the One Who remains the same, even in these turbulent times. We love You, we need You, and we are grateful for Your unending love and amazing grace. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Affirming thanksgiving from Scripture.
Joining in prayer for Israel as well as our beloved America.
Protect President Trump and VP Vance from the enemy of our souls as well as the enemy within.
Place a hedge of protection about the invaders of our borders as well as Israel.
Grant us repentance, revival, and restoration.

Lord, I add a petition for help and restoration to the Appalachian people still reeling from hurricane Helene.
We lift up these people who have lost so much.
We pray that they will be covered in love, mercy and peace.
We pray that their physical needs will be met.
We also ask for Your blessings upon those who continue to minister to this storm torn region.
May Appalachia be able to live in Thanksgiving in spite of their grief.
