Yes.
We gave them up decades ago. But whining still wins in a lot of cases.
Isn’t it way way way past time?
But people don’t like saying “no” to their kids too often today...and/or both mom and dad are too busy taking over the corporate world to knnow what’s going on.
And it’s easier to just give in to kids to shut them up.
Did that 35 years ago. Nothing from Disney after 1975
Worked very well.
Not just Christian parents...
Yep.
Sad to say, Disney's classic "Song of the South" respectfully portrayed the classic African "trickster" tales, tales which never received the wider exposure until that movie appeared. Now that culture is locked away because Disney is ashamed of real Africans and their culture.
Don't get me started on the bastardization of Snow White.
Our (adult) kids have all of our Disney movies, videos, books, and memorabilia from Disney prior to 2005. They definitely wanted the books before they were banned. Any grandkids will be raised with the older material.
Great grands for example.
Marraige is for one thing - among others - for the proper placement and acts of sexual interest, and unlike celibacy, not for the suppression of that natural interest. And, that is all that celebacy can attempt to do - suppress was is otherwise goos and natural. When the penitent cAnnot suppress it but cannot admit that, and desires to remain “officially” celibate, then they will seek immoral alternate sexual escape.
No matter how many different religions have some respect for celebacy, I think it is unnatural and proven to be no guarantee of itself. What celebacy attempts to suppress is not “sin” but sex as it should be. When it fails it becomes sin because it is outside marriage.
Have you noticed the PASTORS who can't wait to go there for vacation?
Just as Diddy filled a need when Epstein died.Disney will be replaced by family friendly programming
You're better off going to the beach. So much more affordable. And you can still have fun without breaking the bank.
Iโll still watch โThe Chronicles Of Narniaโ trilogy and some of the older animated movies from time to time, but Iโm as of now done purchasing any new Disney products.
Roger that.
Old David Letterman bit.
Disney’s empire is falling apart and in decline. Including the stars.
Donald Duck’s nephews.
Huey: Dead
Dewey: Dead
Louie: In rehab.
I bought USED DVDs of their classic films. Since they are used, Disney gets NOTHING. And my grandkids get to see Disney films that WERE worth watching!

Through a Disney move, Song of the South become public domain in Japan. You can buy the DVD for 9.99.
I got a copy and my wife played it for her lib niece. She KNEW Song of the South was racist and glorified slavery. I mean she just knew it!
She got to see that Uncle Remus was the most decent character in the film. She saw him praying over the injured boy. It’s a warm and kind movie and anyone who haves it tells us way more about them than the film. Anyone watching it and feeling indignant is truly sick.
Abandon them.
