"It is barbaric to say that all religions are good or that all religions are loved by God," said Don Jaime Ruiz del Castillo, Vicar General of the Prelature of Moyobamba, Peru, in a recent homily (Infovaticana.com, 17 October).
Born in Madrid in 1977, he is a priest of the Archdiocese of Toledo. Don Ruiz del Castillo explained the truism that false religions are only allowed by God's permissive will, but not by His positive will: "God also 'allows' rape and evil. Can we say he wants them?"
He did not mention Francis' false statement in Singapore on 13 September that all religions are ways to God.
