Beware of people who think that they have Bible prophecies all figured out, claiming to know which event is fulfilling which Bible prophecy. Their views depend on where they stand on basic doctrines, such a the timing of the rapture and whether any prophecies have already been fulfilled.

I think this should be seen as allegory and is in fact the end of the world inside of a person. But, the symbolism would not be relevant to a mortal person unless it was cloaked in symbolism from the outer world. Symbolism is the language of the inner self and I think people should remember that when they read these prophecies.
I remember one of the Pauline epistles pointed out these things would be seen by some persons who were presently living. Since No one from that time is now living either the bible is wrong or the entire context of these prophesies is different then the readers understand.

I might take these predictions somewhat seriously if someone can show me a Bible verse that goes something like, “yea, verily, the hosts of Hamas and Hezbollah, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation shall smite the Land of Israel in the Year of the Lord 2024.”

The great thing about this is that people have predicted it over and over again for centuries but it still gets attention every time.
as my pastor says: we must be careful that our knowledge of Prophesy doesn’t drive the when of the end times, or the rapture for that matter; however, our knowledge of the end times drives our certainty of God’s ultimate purpose and plan in the world. and is a window into the motivations of the Powers and Principalities that actually run the world. to ignore such would make us fools. ultimately Magog will act against Israel.
