There’s not a lot of time for that. There’s indulgences to sell, money to launder at the Vatican Bank, balancing the books for the “Treasury of Merit”, then there are the HR problems involved with covering up for pedophile priests, just to name a few. If they hadn’t stopped burning Bible readers they would have had to have 2 Popes to meet the workload.
