61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Our Father in Heaven,

Blessed Are You,

Oh LORD, Our God,

King of The Universe

You Alone Are Worthy,

You Alone Are LORD,

There is No One Like You.

Oh How They Conspire together, Father,

Against You and Your Beloved!

They Hate You and Your Law,

How Much More So Do They Despise Your Servants?

Give Us Peace in Our Hearts When We Look at These Situations,

And Give Us Insight into What Is REALLY Going On.

Open Our Eyes to The Spiritual Warfare that Is Taking Place,

So That We Will Be Armed properly,

And not take these attacks personally.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.

The Late Bob Marley has a lot of songs about Oppression and Redemption. He looks at it from the viewpoint of an adherent of a Non-Christian Religion, yet he uses a lot of Biblical phrases and analogies in his lyrics.

In his song "Small Axe", he sings:

"Whosoever diggeth the pit,
Shall fall in it, shall fall in it"

So, while "Small Axe" at a first hearing may seem to be calling for revolution, it ends up quoting Scripture:

He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. (Ecclesiastes 10:8 KJV).

Sometimes we wonder if The Lord sees what's going on in our wicked world. We chafe under the yoke of oppression, and sometimes long for revenge. We are astounded when He doesn't prevent evil from existing at all, and marvel that He doesn't "Take Care of Business" on our personal schedule.

Then...something happens that is so outrageous that it busts the whole thing wide open. Our one little grievance was just the tip of a huge iceberg of evil that permeated the entire system. It had to evolve in such a way that, when finally exposed to the Light, there is NO DOUBT about the wickedness that was being perpetrated.

We've seen this time and again in recent History. The plotters, schemers, conspirators, and liars ALL eventually get trapped in a web of their own making.

While we are called to "Pursue Justice", we are NOT called to Pursue Vengeance. This is a job for The Holy Spirit. He knows your Cause, Your Grievance, the Oppression and Injustice you have suffered, and the Truth, because He IS the Truth. Sooner or later, the Oppressor will fall into his own pit, and all that has been concealed will be revealed.

Thank You, Dear, Beloved, Holy Spirit, for being OUR AVENGER.
